    Hi Jorge,

The Brizy forms now works with reCAPTCHA v3 (and not v2). We are sorry that we had not updated out Knowledgebase. Please delete the reCAPTCHA keys you have generated with v2 and recreate it with v3.

We have now updated our Knowledgebase article to reflect this change.

Well, I deleted the old recaptcha, and created the V3, but it doesn't work.... I don't know what's going on. I even deleted the cache on my site, but nothing happens...

Ps. The post need to have new photos, because the old photos are still there with the v2 information.

    Hi Jorge,

If you enable the option "Verify the origin of reCAPTCHA solutions", your reCAPTCHA should work well.

You are right; we need to revise the document with new screenshots.

I really need help here, because I have done what you have told me, and I still have the issue. (I've cleared the cache, and nothing happens)

    Hi Jorge,

I have looked at your website. Here is what I have discovered.

When trying to add the reCAPTCHA Site Key and the Secret Key, even though it says that reCAPTCHA was added successfully, the keys are not being saved. If you go back to reCAPTCHA, you will notice blank spaces in place of the Site Key and the Secret Key.

I deactivated different plugins except GDPR Cookie Consent and attempted to save the Site the Secret Keys. That did not help.

Looks like you are hosting with https://www.inap.com/ If the security systems listed in this page are enabled on your website, can you check if you can disable it temporarily, try adding the site key and the secret key again and then activate the security systems?  https://www.inap.com/managed-services/managed-security/

I escalated this issue with my hosting company. BTW it isn't that one you mentioned, but I got your idea. Thank you. I will let you know.

The hosting support team (greengeeks) looked into this issue and whitelisted two mod_security rule, but the issue hasn't been solved. The last thing they have told me is the following:

"Thank you for your email. I have checked server logs and do not see any security rule triggered, could you please clear cache of your wordpress and re-check it.
If the problem persists, I advise you contact plugin support for possible assistance."

I cleared the cache, but the problem persist....

Could you check in to this issue?

    Thanks

    Hi Jorge,

My colleague confirms that this is a bug. We have a fix available at our end. You will receive it along with the next Brizy and Brizy Pro update.

In the meantime, please disable reCAPTCHA following this procedure.

    1. Duplicating the form and you will find the duplicated form below the original one
    2. Transfer the Email Notification settings from the Original form to the duplicated form
    3. Delete the Original form and keep the duplicated form

Ok got it. Another bad news is that when I connect it to mailerlite, the form doesn't work either... I mean the information is not sent when you click the button....

I followed your steps to disable the reCAPTCHA, but it didn't work....However let me ask you this: what do you mean by transferring the email notification settings? I didn't have set up the email notifications. I had the integration with mailerlite, but it doesn't work.

What did you do on the site? I am trying to delete the block where the form is in (the withe one), and I can't. After I delete it, it shows up again and again.

    Hi Jorge,

Your homepage hero block has a form. Are you wanting to delete the hero block?

  • Jorge A Torres

I'm talking about the other form, actually the block, the white one. In some pages I was able to delet it, but then appears in other ones.... It looks like a bug

I don't know if you did something, but I could delete them finally. What about the integration with mailerlite? How can I solve that problem?

    Hi Jorge,

For the Mailterlite integration to work, every form field must have a corresponding MailerLite subscriber data field and it should be mapped one-on-one. https://jmp.sh/mc7JXp8

Can you please confirm if you have mapped your form fields with MailterLite Subscriber data fields correctly?

Yes each one was mapped, and linked to redirect to another page once the form is submitted. However, it doesn't work.... Could you check it out by yourself?

    Hello Jorge,

    Thank you for your comment.

If you already connected the reCaptcha keys in your project, the contact form will not work at all.

Please, as an alternative solution for contact form element, use the Contact Form 7 plugin in the Brizy page.

I will try to hurry up the new release for Brizy Wordpress plugin.

    Regards, Natalia

When is Brizy going to have this fixed?

Jorge A Torres brought this to Brizy's attention 13 days ago.  I (Craig B) posted about it 9 days ago.  There is no way to turn off reCaptcha once you add your keys.  The keys become a permanent part of your website.  You cannot change the keys.  If you attempt to change your keys, the reCaptcha badge shows an error message (ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key) and your forms don't work.  Forms are a basic function of most business websites.  This should've been fixed soon after the issue appeared.  The only fix that works is to remove all contact forms and replace with a third party contact form plugin.

    Hi Craig,

This issue is fixed at our end and it would be available to you along with our next Brizy and Brizy Pro updates.

If you duplicate the form and delete the original form, you should be able to get rid of the recaptcha error from your website temporarily.

KC George, as I said in one of my previous posts, I tried what you just said, and the recaptcha error doesn't disappear...

    Hi Jorge,

I guess then the only option is to wait for the next update.

KC George and Natalia Chitoroaga, I updated the plugin expecting it would solve the problem, but the problem persist....

The keys are not being saved, so the error still appear on the website...

    Hi Jorge,

We are sorry that this update does not carry the bug fixes. This is a design update and it adds 28 additional starter sites. I have escalated this issue and have requested to release an update which includes the bug fixes. We hope to have another update soon.

Functionality bug fixes should alway take precedence over design updates.  Escalation and hope don't seem to be working!  This should have been fixed over a month ago.  How about having Dimi respond to the reCaptcha issue and why no fix has been released yet?

    Hi Craig,

It wasn't a matter of priority here. We have a development team which is responsible for bug fixes and we have a design team which generates new designs. These two teams work independently. It just happened that the design team completed a set of 28 new designs and hence a design update was released.

We are sorry that it is taking more time for an update to roll out with the bug fixes. Dimi is aware of this and he has interacted with the development team to release an update with the bug fixes quickly.

    Hi Jorge,

We are sorry that it is taking longer than we anticipated to release the bug fixes. The development team is aware that users are waiting for the next update and are doing their best to released it as quickly as possible.
