How to use a local video for a background
How do I use a local video as a header background? The only option I saw has to be a url.
thanks,

Hi Rich,
If im not mistaken, a local video isn't an option brizy has at the moment, But a feature that would be coming soon.

Hi,
That's right. There is currently no custom video upload option. Of course, we have it on the list and the Custom Video option for Video element is already on the way: https://youtu.be/L0jiwGMsleo
This option will be added later for the background, but will initially be added only for the Video element.

Hi,
Unfortunately, no. We have no news in this regard.

It would be nice to see support for this. I managed to get this working using VidBG. I'm Brizy could come up with a nice solution (or simply integrate this) without too much work? Surely? Anyway, this worked for me.
There's a number of threads that reference this same issue:

Hi,
thank you for getting involved. We're already working on it but I will share your suggestion with the team as a possible solution.

Hi, in the meantime are there other ways we can do this as an embed, such as using Flowplayer, or other background video player plugins for WordPress?

Hi,
you could try to make a custom section with HTML and there add custom background video: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_fullscreen_video.asp But, it would take some time and I'm not sure if the goal is worth the effort.

Maybe this will help @"Edmund Dante Hamilton" -- here's a quick guide I wrote up for self-hosted background video in brizy that explains the solution I came up with in more detail.

Hey Alex and Samuel,
Thanks for all your help. Samuel, I will try your method over the weekend. I have a few questions about it but I rather try it first and ask questions later.
For now I am using YouTube but I don't like that option at all. But it works.
