Custom Video Background - Brizy Cloud

How do I upload custom Videos for a video background from my computer for Brizy Cloud?

I only have the option for YouTube or Vimeo.

  Hi,

  Yes, at the moment, isn't possible to add a Custom Video in the background but we will add it in the future. At the moment, you can add the Custom Video only in the Video element.

  Hi, i have the free version of brizy. I tried to upload a custom video too from my computer. I can see it in wordpress medias but not in brizy. I don't have video element only images. How can i see my video on my website, please ? Thanks

  Hi,

  Unfortunately, the ability to add Custom Video is available only in the Brizy Pro version. In the Video element from the Free version is possible to add a video from YouTube and Vimeo.

  In Brizy Cloud when you want to add a video background from youtube there is the intro text at the top of the screen. However, in brizy pro, a youtube background functions normally. Is this going to get fixed soon? Or is this a glitch on my end?

  Could you please send us a screenshot with the problem you encounter on the background? Just now, I tried to reproduce this issue on the Brizy Cloud but all seems to work fine. See here. Could you please send us the URL link of the page where you encounter this problem?

  The issue seems to happen when I want to make the height of the template blocks "full-height". That's when the text is showing up at the top of the youtube link. Here is a video of the process https://www.loom.com/share/fcfa9f21fa564df0a4057980a9ecfd27

  Hey Sandra, 

  The issue only happens when you hover the mouse cursor on the sides of the screen. That's when the video text at the top of the screen shows up and also the youtube logo at the bottom corner.

   

  Here is a recent vid that I made showing the text pop up once the mouse moves to the edges of the screen.

  The text and youtube logo on-screen only happen when the content blocks are full-screen height. If the height is set to auto the video background works great.

  Hi,

  I'm sorry but I checked again the URL you send us and I couldn't reproduce the issue. See here, I tried to make the same steps you made in your video. I also tried in the incognito browser mode and the same, all is working fine. See here.
  Could you please try deleting the browser cache?

  Hi Sandra,

  I cleared my cache but I'm still getting the titles and logo to show up on the full height video background. I'm not sure what to make of it.

  Is there going to be a time when brizy cloud will allow users to upload a small video file?

  Hi,

  At the moment in Brizy Cloud isn't possible to add on the background a custom video. This option is a Pro one and is available only for Video element.

  Regarding the inconvenience with the video with on the background you encounter - we will investigate it a bit more but some of our team members said that this can be a restriction from YouTube and it will show on the background all video details. Could you please try using the Vimeo video?

  Thank you for getting in touch with us.

  Unfortunately, at the moment isn't possible to add a Video in the background of your tablet or mobile, therefore we have already created a feature request on this subject. But you can add a video that will appear on mobile, using the Video element.
