Updates are boken my websites
Hi,
I use Brizy Pro on 2 websites and I have the same problem with both. For a very long time (too long), I haven't updated the basic “Brizy” + “Brizy Pro” extensions because it totally breaks the site.
Today, it's becoming critical as the flaws are piling up.
- Brizy is in version 2.4.44 (instead of 2.6.4)
- Brizy Pro is in version 2.4.38 (instead of 2.6.3).
I start by updating the Brizy base module. From that moment on, the display is broken, the footer disappears from all pages, as well as other display bugs. Then I update the pro module, which finishes breaking the site. Almost nothing is displayed anymore.
Not being a developer, I'm stuck. I think I should be able to use my hosting to create a clone of the site on a stagging version. If I can, can you help me by looking at the source of the problem, or is it up to me to sort it out?
Here are the 2 website urls:

Hi,
I don't have the same versions as @Ben. I don't have a problem going back as I have backups of the whole site that I can restore easily. But the versions provided (2.6.4 and 2.6.3 for Brizy pro) are the ones that crash the site.
Is it still useful for me to provide a staging version of the site, or is it better to wait for a patch?
If so, I'll take care of it as soon as possible.

Hi Laurent and Ben,
Sorry about that, please make sure you have the following versions installed and let us know if the issue persists.

Hi Ariel,
I have tried to update the 2 sites with the latest versions:
- https://www.bois-chauffage-bearn.com/ is ok now!
- https://www.au-roi-de-landouille-64.com/ still not ok.
The display is totally broken and the site unusable (fronted).I made a staging version with a clone of the site on which I generated a new brizy pro licence that I activated.
As suggested, I sent an email to communitysupport@brizy.io with the admin account login details and the link to connect to the administration.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Laurent,
Thank you for the update.
We’ve updated both Brizy and Brizy Pro on your staging site, and everything seems to be functioning properly. Before performing the updates, we disabled all third-party plugins and then proceeded with the update.
Here’s a screenshot of the page:

Please check on your end to confirm.
Kind regards,
