Problems w/ server sync..again and again
Hey,
now we published some sites with brizy cloud and server sync method but every time server sync keeps giving headaches.
An very often encountered problem is that the site is initially being synced but then no further updates are deployed there even though file permissions for the main project folder or the cache folders are being extended (775).
We have this problem now on IONOS hosting and are wondering what's going on here. There's no real chance to debug or check what causes this behaviour which is really frustrating, especially when project deadlines are due.
I don't want to reupload the project every time we change something on a site or even fallback to html export method instead...

Hi Daniel,
We would like to check this problem from your dashboard. Could you please send us the WP credentials to this site? We have created a private ticket for this request. You had to receive a notification regarding this by email. Also, please write in the ticket the URL of your project.
Best regards, Nelea.

Hi Nelea,
thanks, but it's an Brizy Cloud issue, not with a WP installation.
I replied to your private ticket.

I deleted and reuploaded the sync files (that I downloaded again) for the project and it seems to sync now...
but dunno what's the problem then.
btw: if downloading the sync files from brizy.cloud for a project, do we need to download these files from the project specifically or are these files just generic and always the same?

Hi Daniel,
1. Perhaps it was a temporary issue related to uploading time.
2. For each project you should download the files every time.
Could you please see this article about Server Sync in Brizy Cloud, it will help you to understand better this process.
Best regards, Nelea.

Hi Nelea,
I know this article already, thanks.
I uploaded the files exactly the same also checking/adjusting folder write permissions beforehand and htaccess so it's kinda frustrating if things don't work 1st time without knowing what exactly is happening then. No chance to debug...
regards,
daniel

Hi Daniel,
We are sorry for this inconvenience.
Unfortunately, we can not debug an issue if we cannot reproduce it. Please let us know if you have this problem again.
Best regards, Nelea.
