Move from Plan WP Brizy Builder Pro to Brizy Studio
Hello,
I have a hosted domain at Namecheap and want to change my subscription.
What is the right order to move the pages from Namecheap (made with Brizy WP buider) to the Cloud Studio?
I also want to buy a new custom domain and attach it to the new cloud subscription, where do I do that best and do I get https certificates for all my sites that you host on the cloud.
Furthermore, if I make a site for a client in Brizy Cloud Studio and move it to a domain that they host, can the client makes edits with the free version of Brizy? Or how can I make it easy for them to change a phone number or do a text edit.
To be clear, I want to cancel the Builder subscription and move all to be hosted to Brizy Cloud, with the exception of 1 project.
Lastly, I saved all my images as PNG's in Photoshop. Do I still need a plugin for compression?
Thank you very much,
Kind regards,
Paul Nagel

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your message and sorry for the late response! On the weekends, Support is limited.
Regarding the questions that you have:
1. "What is the right order to move the pages from Namecheap (made with Brizy WP buider) to the Cloud Studio?"
For this you will need to use the sync option, please see this video and article that explains everything: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360027008491-Server-Sync ; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFJMIqieaDw
2. "I also want to buy a new custom domain and attach it to the new cloud subscription, where do I do that best and do I get https certificates for all my sites that you host on the cloud."
First of all, we do not sell custom domains. Second of all, you should buy from a 3rd party it (even from namechep) and connect it with Brizy. How to do that, please see this article: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360041764052-Custom-domain-A-Record-Redirect- . Third of all, we offer free SSL to all projects with custom domains.
3. "Furthermore, if I make a site for a client in Brizy Cloud Studio and move it to a domain that they host, can the client makes edits with the free version of Brizy? Or how can I make it easy for them to change a phone number or do a text edit. "
Yes - if the user has a Brizy account he or she can modify it's project to the own liking.
4. "To be clear, I want to cancel the Builder subscription and move all to be hosted to Brizy Cloud, with the exception of 1 project."
It's clear, don't worry.
5."Lastly, I saved all my images as PNG's in Photoshop. Do I still need a plugin for compression?"
Regarding this, no - in cloud we have the option of auto-compression.
Hope this made things clear for you and it helps! If you have any other questions or encounter some problems, please feel free to ask! We will be happy to help.
Have a nice day and kind regards,
Doina

Hi Doina, Account: hidden by the Brizy team for confidentiality I tried to update My Brizy Pro Account into Brizy Cloud Studio. It gives me a price of 50 GBP, but later changes to 99 USD. Please see attached screenshots. Normally my next Brizy PRO plan bill is until the 29th of November, so there is also a difference. Regarding the previous message I need to move a project made with the WP-plugin ( now hosted by Namecheap) to the new Brizy Cloud STUDIO description and have that hosted by your company. I am looking forward to your reply. Kind regards,

Hi Doina, Please see attached screenshot. To be 100% sure. I saved all blocks and layouts from the WP Plugin and synced it to the cloud. Does this mean that everything includes all images are now saved on your Cloud and I can publish a new project with it? EVEN WHEN I END THE NAMECHEAP HOSTING? I am looking forward to your reply. KInd regards

Hi Doina, Sorry for the overdose of messages, but if I reuse the layouts in Cloud: - colours are changing - fonts are changing - all images are missing What should I do to prevent this? Note: some layouts are blurred (at the Saved Layouts in Cloud). If I can just use the blocks that is also OK, since I want to change the layout. But recreating all font sizes by hand would be very time consuming. Please see attached screenshots. I am looking forward to your reply. Kind regards,

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your message and no worries!
Regarding what you said, first of all I haven't received any screenshots. Please see here to understand what I am talking about. Second of all, if you want to move your project from WP to Cloud, you have to use the option sync. Please see this article. Third of all, regarding the layouts- unfortunately you can not import styles yet, but this is something that we work and will implement in the future. At the same time, if images are blurred, you have to upload them again. Hope this was helpful! Again, if you have any other questions or encounter some problems, please feel free to ask! We will be happy to help.
Kind regards,
Doina

Hello Doina, Thank you for your reply. Last questions, if I want to publish from Cloud to a self hosted domain. (So the opposite direction) 1. Do I have to follow the same procedure to sync with the server, or can I download the HTML files and upload them on the self hosted domain. 2. This project has also styles. I want to avoid to have to recreate all styles. I will send the screenshots with the payment issue in a separate email. Kind regards, Paul Nagel

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your message!
Regarding what you said, first of all you can send the screenshots here. When you write in the community, your message first of all arrives to us and if we approve/respond to it, we make it public. Do not worry, we will not let any private information here.
Second of all, "Last questions, if I want to publish from Cloud to a self hosted domain. (So the opposite direction) 1. Do I have to follow the same procedure to sync with the server, or can I download the HTML files and upload them on the self hosted domain. " - you can connect the custom domain with Brizy Cloud and everything will be hosted by us. If you want your files to be hosted by you, you have to 2 variants:
1. You do the sync (each change in the page will update the content on the server, after the update it will take a few minutes until the changes will be synchronized on its server)
2. If you download HTML, you can do this as well but at every Brizy update you will have to download HTML again.
The difference between sync and html is that sync can keep the content on their server, and if it makes frequent changes, they will automatically sync but if you download HTML- this is recommended when you don't modify much, meaning you once download and don't modify anymore.
Hope this made things clear for you!
Kind regards,
Doina

Hello Paul,
Thank you for your message!
Regarding what you asked, if you want to upgrade to the Studio you have to pay the fee of £50.00,no matter if you used 30% from the first year or if it is the last year of subscription. But the difference you pay is just for the upgrade. Then it is £99 per year. Hope this helped and made things clear!
Best regards,
Doina

Hello Donia, I understand, but 50 GBP is around 68USD, not 99USD (which is the PayPal amount as you can see in the screenshots). So, if I pay my second year, the upgrade is still 50 GBP. So, I better wait.. By the way I managed to redirect my domain to Cloud, the process went very smoothly ;) Kind regards, Paul Nagel
