Will Editor role get access to publish blog articles?
I was just testing the "Editor" role in a sub account for consideration to allow clients to create blog articles on their website.
It appears the Editor role can create pages, blog categories, and blog articles, but they cannot add blocks or elements to these items.
While not being able to add elements (can only edit existing images and text) is the intended function of the Editor role, they should not be able to create pages - even if the page remains in draft mode because they don't have permission to publish the page.
Also, I don't think the Editor role should be able to create blog categories. They should only be able to create/edit blog posts and assign posts to an existing category.
I would love if clients assigned the Editor role can add content to their blog posts, and even publish the post when ready.
In this way, clients can maintain a blog without direct intervention by our agency.
What do you think of these suggestions?

Hi,
Yes, the editor role can't add some elements or blocks on the page or post. He can only edit texts and images. More about team members and roles in the Brizy Cloud you can find in this article. Also, we encounter that the editor role can add new pages, posts and categories and this isn't correct and we will improve this aspect. Also, I want to add that they can create these but they can't edit them, which is a correct behaviour. Thank you for reporting this to us.

Hi Sandra, I'd like to be able to invite members specifically to add new draft blog posts or edit existing ones. However I don't really want them to be able to edit my main website pages. Have you considered the role of blog editor to restrict their capabilities as editor, or allow checkboxes to say what editing rights each particular use has?
So pleased to finally have the Brizy Cloud blog feature .. Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for your message. We are happy to find that you like the Blog feature for Brizy Cloud.
At the moment we don't have a special role for Blog editors. We have the "Editor" role and it is related to the pages too.
Thank you for your suggestion. At the moment we don't have it in our Feature Request list but I will inform our team about this suggestion and they will make a decision about this.
Let us know if we can help you with something else.
Best regards,

That would be great. A Blog Editor role is an excellent idea!
Thanks for adding it to your Feature Request list Sandra!
