Home page is not working but all other pages are fine

Hello,

I have templates for all pages on my website boringbooks.net and all is working except home template.
I opened it and I published it but it is still not working. This happened so suddenly! I didn't update anything.

  Hi,

  Could you please give us more details about how did you create the Homepage? What display conditions did you set for the template created for Homepage? What display conditions did you set for the second template you created for all pages? Did you add also an "Exclude" condition and exclude it from the Homepage? In the Pages, does the Homepages is edit with Brizy? Could you please send us some screenshots with these details?

  Here is a screenshot, as you can see there wasn't any changes for the past 3 weeks except last two changes were made just yesterday after we discovered the problem.

  Hi Amir,

  Could you please check if on the template you created for all pages, did you add an exclude condition for the Homepage as it has a separate template? Could you please try adding it? In the Pages, do you see the Brizy name belong to the "Frontpage" https://jmp.sh/kIl6vZI? If you have this, please deactivate the Brizy editor from this page. For this please go to the Edit mode of the page and click on "Back to WordPress editor" https://jmp.sh/agRffZP.
  Also, could I ask the same question I addressed to Lasse (thank you for updating us and join to this post), why did you create a separate template for the FrontPage? Usually, the Brizy templates are used for dynamic pages like Blog, Shop page, Single Post page, Archive, Category.

  Hi Sandra,

  • First I got it fixed, I created a new empty page and I chose it as homepage from settings -> reading. I am not sure if this is a good solution or a bad workaround. Let me know if there is any better way without having to repeat all work I made in the homepage template.

  

  •  I can't remember how I got the impression the homepage should be created from templates, but Brizy allows it and I worked with it, so I thought it is the normal way to do it until now!

  Hi,

  Could I ask you if you previously set-up a page as Homepage in the WordPress settings? You must set-up a page as a homepage. If you created a template for the Homepage, you have to set-up in WordPress Settings a page as a Homepage. After this please make sure that this page isn't edited with Brizy and it is a simple page.
