    Hi Sandra,

sorry for double-posting, this was my fault. I prefer, if we could continue the issue in this thread. Thank you.

I have the latest Brizy installed in my WordPress: Brizy Free 2.2.3 and Brizy Pro 2.2.0. To show you the behavior I created a test site in Brizy Cloud:

    https://kiwi4789369.brizy.site

You see an image, which has a size of 2340 x 1771 px:

When you click on it, the Lightbox opens and shows an image of the size 1200 x 857.

This makes no sense to me. I want the Lightbox to show a higher resolution, not a lower.

    Kind regards,
    Uli

    Hi,

I will send the reply to this question here because you ask me to continue the discussion here.

In such a way us working the lightbox in Brizy editor and I'm sorry if you find this disappointing. We are working hard to make Brizy better and work fast and be optimized. Yes, we can understand that this aspect is important for you but I want to highlight that Brizy is a page builder and it has to be optimized for each type of sites. If we will allow show a bit wider images, it is a high possibility to lose in optimization and site speed. All these risks and details were discussed and analyzed by the entire team.

    Thank you for understanding!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Ok. Is there any way in Brizy to show high resolution images (more than 1200px width) when I click on a thumbnail?

    Hi,

Another solution can be to add a link of the image and open it in a new tab in the dimension you need. Unfortunately, another solution for this case, at the moment, we can't offer.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

It is very inconvenient for customers to jump between tabs in order to see the image in better quality.

However, I just discovered a way to achieve my goal: By using the pop-up feature instead of the lightbox, it is possible to show images in high resolution. This is a good solution for customers on the one hand. For me as a page builder on the other hand this is a nightmare, because for every single image in a large gallery I have to do numerous clicks. This is very inconvenient und slows my development time significantly. You should seriously consider to add a lightbox option for quality und resolution settings as posted in my feature request.

I hope you understand my point: For some Brizy customers image quality is crucial and definitely more important than performance and page loading times. Let your customers decide!

    Kind regards,
    Uli

Has there been any progress on the lightbox quality and improving it?  I am going to be working with a number of creative people to build their sites.  I have tried the Brizy lightbox and it is really not satisfactory for what I intend, or clients expect.
