Hamburger Menu Does Not Work (Pro 2.0.5)

Urgent help needed. A client informed me that the hamburger menu is not working. I checked on my Android and was shocked that it is true. So the site is not usable to mobile users!

 

Reason: the hamburger menu works when "tested" on the responsive view but does not work on actual phones. There is no response when you tap the hamburger menu.

 

Could be due to the WP 5.5 update?

Sandra Prunici tried to help me three days ago but there has been no response. She could be on holiday.

  Hi, Albert,

  I would like to have a holiday but at the moment I'm here :D. I responded to you on this post where you said that the hamburger menu isn't working. See here. I also attached a video where I showed that all is working fine. Now, I tested again and find the problem you mentioned. I tried to reproduce this problem on my test site but I couldn't reproduce it. Therefore, could you please make some basic checks? Do you have the actual version of the Brizy Free too? At the moment it is 2.0.8 version. If you temporary deactivate all plugins (except Brizy free and Pro) and activate a WP default theme, is all start to work fine?

  I replied to you via email three times (see below). Looks like you didn't receive them.

  Just use your mobile phone (not Brizy's browser simulation) to visit https://www.linde-mh.com.sg/ and replicate the problem.

  Did you test on real devices or on the browser? I thought that using the Brizy theme would not result in such glitches so I would not believe my client when she said that the hamburger menu wasn't working on her phone. I was so surprised that it didn't work on my Android either: nothing happens when I use my finger to click on the hamburger menu. I was red-faced.

  Please help. Thank you.

  I have installed the plugin to enable jQuery but the Brizy hamburger menu still doesn't work on mobiles.

  Hi, Albert,

  No, as you can see from the screenshot I send you, I didn't receive your message, maybe you send them in another chat.

  Back to the problem - as I said in the last message, on the last test I made 3 days ago, I could view the problem you encounter. Therefore, I kindly ask you to make some basic checks:

  - Do you have the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.0.9 and PRO 2.0.5?

  - If you change the theme with a WP default theme do you have the same problem?

  - Do you have the same problem if you disable all external plugins?

  Hi Sandra,

  I'm very surprised you couldn't see the messages that I resent yesterday. Scroll down to see below (with the dates that the messages were sent). 

  1. I have read all your questions to other uses with the same problem. Yes, I have done all those basic things.

  2. The hamburger menu used to work before the Wordpress 5.5 update (see my emails below). If you are not familiar with the 5.5 update, you can ask Dimi or others who might be familiar.

  3. I am using the Brizy theme which must have been tested to have basic functions (like the mobile menu) to work. I have the Brizy lifetime licence so I expect Brizy's hamburger menu to work.
