    Hi,

In what conditions did you receive this message? Actually, it appears when 2 or more users work on the same page and make updates. Also, it can appear when you have open the same page in the build mode in another window or tab.
Some of our users reported that they found this error in the normal conditions and for this case, we already have created an issue and our developers are investigating it.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

How often this problem is appear? Could you send a screen record?
As I said we already created an issue on this topic to our team and they are investigating and finding a solution for it, but if you encounter one more detail related to this problem, I will inform our developers regarding this.
Also, could you check please if you have the latest versions for Brizy Free (1.0.126) and Brizy Pro (0.0.41)? In the last Free versions, we improved the security of the plugins.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

I asked one of our developers regarding this behaviour and he suggested to clean the site cache and increase the PHP memory limit to the 512M. https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/fix-wordpress-memory-exhausted-error-increase-php-memory/

    Best regards,

Is 512MB now the suggested PHP memory allocation, or is that for this situation only? That's at least double the amount of memory required for the other page builders I use...

I've been experiencing the same issue since yesterday and I'm unable to make any changes to my pages. It's frustrating as there are tons of changes now pending.

What's the permanent solution for this? Will increasing PHP to 512 MB solve it permanently?

    Thank you.

FIX (for some time, so maybe workaround rather):

Install Advanced Database Cleaner plugin and clean the database. Perhaps you noticed, how big the database grows after Brizy usage. There are many junk left that causing this and other issues, like edits not being saved.

After db cleaning, the message is gone for some time.

    Hi,

This problem is a bit complex and can have some causes. One of the cause is generated by the server. In this case in the console appear 500 error and therefore the Brizy request isn't sent to the server. Here the solution can be to increase the Memory limit. I can't say exactly if this is a temporary or permanent fix but it can help you now.
Also, thank you, Piotr, for your suggestion, I hope it will help other users to deal with this problem.
    Our developers are investigating it.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Thank you so much Piotr Rewucki.

You've no idea how much you've helped me. This has been a bottleneck for the past 3 days. I hope Brizy solves this and finds something "permanent". It's really frustrating.

UPDATE: I think it was caused by a plugin: All In One WP Security, I deactivated it and it worked. Anyway I can have both the security and my website?

Ah. This is so annoying. Now I can make changes but the changes won't show up on my front end, I can only see them on my back end. Here's a short loom video

Anyone else having this issue?? Or is it just me?

    Hi,

Could you please describe the last actions you make before encountering this problem? Also, could you please send us the URL link of this page or send us a screenshot of the console from the preview?

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,

Could you please send us a screenshot from the console when you receive this problem? In most of the cases, the problem is in the 500 server error, that means that Brizy request isn't sent to the server. If it is the same your case, could you please improve the memory limit to the 512M and add an optimizer plugin?
Also, could you check if you have the latest Brizy Free (1.0.126) and Brizy Pro (0.0.41) versions?

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Jorge, check your database size with hosting provider. It always has a limit set on server. When its size reaches that limit, you cannot add anything more in Wordpress.

Use plugin to clean database. Advanced database cleaner.

Well. It came back after DB Cleaner.

So, im guessing its not a permanent fix and Brizy uses a lot of resources?

  • Piotr Rewucki

Exactly. Brizy saves revisions to db. It grows quickly. Honestly I don't know how everyone using brizy is dealing with this. I don't know how makers can not be aware of this issue...

Don't think we're getting a permanent fix any time soon. I cleaned my DB and it is working well so far. Fingers crossed. Brizy needs to find something solid rather than increasing the memory and cleaning the DB.

    Hi,

I just want to let you know that all the issues discussed in this post are known and we always send to the devs the issues reported here and reproduced. Database overload, revisions issues, image optimization all these have a separate internal issue and will be fixed. We cannot offer any ETA in this regard because they are complex issues. It's not a simple CSS change. It takes time to investigate and resolve. In addition, this is done without somehow influencing the product development process. And yes, Piotr, I know that the fix you are waiting for is already long in coming, but it is not something I can influence. Now it takes patience ;).

Hi there, same issue here. Once my pages reach a certain level of complexity, I get this error too. I too am the sole editor.

My current workaround is to "save" each block, completely delete the page (yes, trash the whole page), and start a new one, and import all the saved blocks. It's a HUGE inconvenience because I have to update all of the links on other pages - heaven forbid those pages crash on me too, then it's an iterative mess -- but I thought I'd mention that in case it helps the troubleshooting process: It's almost as though a page-specific hidden "undo history" or maybe something in the database keeps track of all little changes, and after a while whatever data for that specific page gets overwhelmed and just registers a memory error, that displays as a generic "out of memory" message?

    Bacon bits,

    JF

    Hi, Jean-Francois,

I created a private ticket on this request. You had to receive a notification regarding this on email. Could you send to us in that private message the WP credentials to this site?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

I am having this same issue, and have been for the past three days, with limited windows of things working as normal. In addition, images are now not showing correctly in existing posts. Any advice? I can't seem to add a DB cleaner as it says "can't create directory."

    Hi, Beth,

We investigated this inconvenience on Jean-Francois's dashboard and didn't find this error. Therefore, we want to ask you the same questions. Do you have this message on a specific page? What are your actions on that project? Maybe you edit the page, let's say for 20 minutes, without saving this page and at one moment the error occurs?
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Every couple of minutes I am editing with brizy, my database gets cluttered with revisions and orphaned meta data.

These need to be cleaned to get rid of that brizy error.

Lately I even lost my half an hour worth editing, because page needs refresh hit me.

    Hi Sandra,

It was happening on all posts and pages I tried to edit, and it was occurring anytime I pressed the "Update" button, regardless of what I'd done beforehand—in some cases, I was insert Saved or Global blocks, in others, changing or adding images to a post. It was also happening when I tried to create a brand new post. Additionally, it would happen whether I spent two or twenty minutes on updates—I could not create or update anything without the error occurring.

One of my coworkers increased the EBS volume (? not sure what that is/means) and it is working again, but I am concerned it will continue to happen.

    Thanks for you assistance,
    Beth

    Hi, Piotr and Beth,

For you, we created a separate private ticket. Could you please send us in that private ticket the WP credentials to your dashboard? We want to investigate this problem from you.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Was this issue ever resolved? I'm experiencing it now. I've increased my memory limit, installed DB Cleaner, and this issue still isn't resolved. Both Brizy and Brizy Pro are up to date, as well as WP and my Theme.

  • Sandra Prunici

    Hi Jessica,

Did you open the editor mode of the page in a single tab or in some more? We recommend opening the editor mode of the page in a single tab. What is the WP memory limit now for your site? How often did you make an update to the page? We recommend making an update of the page after 10 minutes of working on the page.
Could you please instal the Cache cleaning plugin and run it? Also, could you optimise the database using the WP Optimizer plugin? Delete the plugins and themes you do not use anymore and clean the media library from the images you don't use anymore and the first revisions from the pages and posts you know you will not need. Also, we can recommend using the ShortPixel plugin to optimize images. We recommend this plugin because we have an integration with it and therefore it can optimize Brizy images from Brizy folders.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra
