Brizy and WPML: no synchronization between menu language versions

Hi there!

As I explained in my previous post, my customer and I are testing the work of Brizy in our environment: zenira.bg (built with KidsPlay by ThemeFuse running on Unyson builder), in order to take the best decision for the long-term website development, since we are not able to continue with the current framework.

I faced a serious case of incompatibility between Brizy and WPML: there is no synchronization between the language versions of the menu.

I have created a completely new Contact page with Brizy. Then continued with the English version. With WPML I duplicated the BG page in the English version to use the template and then just to translate the text.

The Brizy menu is a drop-down menu item from which you should select the one you want to apply. This item is placed in a Header block. The block has the "Make global" option.

When this feature is turned on and a language version (EN) is created for a page, the EN menu must be re-selected and re-applied. After the EN page is updated, I go back to BG to see that the menu is gone and EN settings have been overwritten.

When this feature is off, It means the corresponding page has a custom menu and it does not associate with the menu of the other language version as well as the main menu of the site.

 
Please, advise me how to proceed,
