Archive not loading Custom Post Type posts with custom taxonomy
Hello, how are you? I hope you're doing well.
I’m experiencing an issue when using the Archive element in Brizy with a Custom Post Type (CPT) and a custom taxonomy.
I created a CPT for events using the Custom Post Type UI plugin, along with a taxonomy called categoria_da_agenda. The posts are properly assigned to categories, and the taxonomy URL is working as expected.
I also created an Archive template in Brizy with the following display conditions:
- Include → Categorias Eventos → All Categorias Eventos
Observed behavior:
- Inside the Brizy editor, the Archive element only displays default WordPress posts (post), ignoring the custom post type.
- When accessing the actual taxonomy URL (e.g.
/categoria_da_agenda/capacitacao/), no posts are displayed. - I have already verified that:
- The CPT is correctly linked to the taxonomy
- Posts are assigned to the taxonomy terms
- Permalinks have been refreshed
- I also tested with a new taxonomy (without underscore in the slug), but the issue persists
Expected behavior:
The Archive element should display posts from the custom post type based on the taxonomy context of the URL, similar to how it works with default WordPress posts.
Support request:
Could you please clarify:
- Does the Brizy Archive element fully support Custom Post Types with custom taxonomies?
- Is there any additional configuration required for the Archive to recognize the CPT and its taxonomy?
- Are there any known limitations regarding this type of setup?
If needed, I can provide access or further technical details for investigation.
Thank you very much in advance for your support.

Hello Impactamídia Marketing,
Please confirm if you have activated Brizy for the Eventos CPT in your WordPress Dashboard under Brizy > Settings.

Thank you for your reply, that option was indeed not active, but even after activating it, the CPT posts I created still don't appear.

Hello Pâmela,
To makes the archive pages work, we have made some changes to your CPT UI configuration and have deactivated the Relevanssi plugin. Please review category archive pages such as https://novo.ibraworksp.com.br/categoria_da_agenda/capacitacao/.
There could be a code conflcit between Relevanssi plugin and Brizy. Kindly explore another search plugin in place of Relevanssi.

Hi KC George.
Ok, thank you so much for your help.
Just one question:
Does the WordPress theme also need to be different, or can I revert to Impactalive, which was the original theme?

The theme was switched as part of troubleshooting. If everything works fine after switching back to Impactalive theme please continue to use the theme.

Okay, thank you.
I'm noticing a problem with the "agenda" pages; they're not loading a Brizy template. Could you please check it?

Hello Pâmela,
You have not yet setup a Brizy template for agendas. Kindly add a new template with this Display Condition
