not loading css
Hello,
I’m experiencing a serious issue with my website built using Brizy.
Suddenly, almost all of my pages (Dutch versions) lost their styling and now display as plain HTML (unstyled content, menu as bullet list, broken layout). The content itself is still there, but the CSS is clearly not loading.
Here are the details:
-
The problem started after I edited a background of a block in Brizy.
-
My homepage is now working again, but only after I recreated it using a saved template.
-
All other pages are still broken unless I rebuild them manually.
-
My English page (which was created separately) still works perfectly.
-
Saving/updating pages in Brizy takes a very long time.
-
It feels like Brizy is not properly generating or linking the CSS files anymore.
What I have already tried:
-
Cleared all cache (including LiteSpeed, also disabled it completely)
-
Regenerated the page by updating it in Brizy
-
Created a template and rebuilt the homepage (this fixed that page only)
-
Checked page templates (they are set to Brizy)
-
No translation plugins are used (pages are separate)
My suspicion:
It seems like the CSS files for Brizy are either not being generated correctly or not being loaded from the server (possibly an issue with the /uploads/brizy/ folder or file writing).
Could you please help me identify:
-
Why the CSS is not loading on existing pages
-
Why saving takes so long
-
How I can regenerate all Brizy CSS files globally (not per page)

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,

Hello,
I’m following up on my previous issue, as I’ve made some progress but now encountered a new problem.
Initial issue:
After editing a block background in Brizy, almost all of my pages (Dutch versions) lost their styling and appeared as plain HTML (no CSS). Saving pages also became very slow.I managed to partially fix this by:
-
Saving my homepage as a template
-
Rebuilding the homepage using that template
This restored the styling on that page, which suggests the CSS was not being generated or linked correctly before.
However, other pages still require manual rebuilding to fix the styling.
New issue:
While trying to fix the layout, I removed my footer menu and created a new one. After doing this, my main menu/header is now incorrectly positioned on several pages.-
On some pages, the header appears in the middle of the content instead of at the top
-
I cannot move it back to the top using block reordering
-
It seems like the header/menu is not behaving like a normal block (possibly a global block or template conflict)
My questions:
-
Why did the original CSS issue happen (pages losing styling)?
-
Is there a way to regenerate all Brizy CSS globally instead of per page?
-
How does Brizy handle headers/global blocks vs normal blocks?
-
How can I force the header/menu to appear at the top of all pages again?

Thank you for your support.
