Edit page not working.
Hello,
I am having an issue when trying to edit my WordPress pages with Brizy. Whenever I try to save my work, I get this error message: ‘This page needs a refresh. You've probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser’.
I use Plesk for hosting management (done with Hostinger).
Here are the configuration details:
Brizy V 2.7.18
Brizy Pro V 2.7.9

Hi Elhadji,
Thank you for contacting us.
This issue often happens on sites using Wordfence or similar security plugins. Disabling the firewall or setting it to learning mode can usually resolve the problem. More information is available here: https://help.elegantthemes.com/en/articles/2395855-how-to-fix-saving-issues-while-wordfence-plugin-is-enabled.
If this is not the case, please confirm if you can replicate the issue with all other plugins besides Brizy and Brizy Pro disabled? Also, try using another theme and see if this makes any difference?
If the issue continues, this is something we need to inspect from your WP Admin page. Please add us as an Admin user to your WordPress Dashboard and send the following details to: communitysupport@brizy.io

Hi Elhadji, thank you for your cooperation. I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end, as shown in the screencast - https://youtu.be/bQVUJvddz9k
Does this happen on a specific page?
In the meantime, please try accessing the site using a different browser to see if the issue persists.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
After checking, the bug concerned the page : https://croust.sn/direction-et-gouvernance.
In fact, the page was set to "published" but "password protected" as the edition was not yet complete.
So when I change the status to published without password or draft, the bug disappears.0 -
Hi Elhadji, it looks like we had this issue before and that it has resurfaced. I will try to replicate the issue in my test environment and escalate it as needed.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
Thank you for taking the time to look at this and for bringing it up.
Hope you can reproduce it and find a solution quickly.
All the best,

Hi Elhadji,
Thank you for the update.
I’ve tried to replicate the issue on my end, but I haven’t been able to reproduce the same behavior. This may be related to JavaScript errors in Brizy or a conflict with your current theme or a caching plugin.
When you have a chance, please try switching to a different theme temporarily to see if the issue continues. This will help us determine whether the theme is involved. Otherwise, you can set the page or post to Draft only after making your edits, and switch it back to Published whenever you need to continue working on it, until you’re ready to set it live.
Best regards,

Hello Ariel,
I don’t think the issue is related to the theme. I changed the theme yesterday, but that didn’t resolve the problem.
That said, the bug doesn’t seem to be occurring today, and I’m able to save the page even when it’s set to “Published” and “Password Protected".
All the best,0
