Brizy.cloud server sync to testbed behind NAT
Hi Team,
I’m trying to set up sync between Brizy Cloud and my test environment that’s behind a NAT. Is this scenario even possible for a dry run?
Cheers Slava

Hello Slava,
We have not yet attempted to publish a Brizy Cloud website using Server Sync on a webserver behind a NAT. If Brizy Cloud services are accessible from your webserver, the server sync procedure may work fine; we are not sure though. Kindly follow the procedure at https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360027008491 and let us know if you encounter any issues.

Dear KC,
After some local tweaking, I was able to get it running — partially, I would say.
However, as soon as the testbed
install.phpscript touched the Brizy Cloud servers, the live website was deactivated and the service was impacted. Random live cloud pages only displayed the message: "Project unavailable". The quick fix was to click on Disconnect in Sync Script section in the Brizy administration.Unfortunately, that leaves me with no option to test the sync script(s) in advance on local web servers before running it on a live project.

Hello Slava,
When you deploy a website on an external webserver using server sync, you would usually add a domain to your hosting account. Once you complete the sync process, the website will not be available on the brizy.site subdomain, but only in the domain associated with your external server. For example, if your Brizy Cloud website is https://california.brizy.site and once you successfully deploy this website on a webserver linked to the domain https://california.com, the website will be available on https://california.com and the original URL https://california.brizy.site, will show a "Project Not Found" error. This is the expected behavior.
For testing the server sync process, you could duplicate the Brizy Cloud project using the "Duplicate" option in the project thumbnail, setup a webserver with a temporary domain and and try the sync process on this server.

Dear KC,
thank You. Seems this is the way to test.Sláva
