    Hi Cristina,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The PHP errors you're encountering are not related to Brizy or Brizy Pro. They appear to be caused by another plugin that includes an older library called phplrt/compiler, which isn’t fully compatible with PHP 8.0. Brizy and Brizy Pro do not use this library, so they are not the source of the issue.

To address this, I recommend switching your PHP version to 7.4 for now, as it tends to work better with older plugins. To pinpoint which plugin is causing the error, you can try deactivating all third-party plugins except for Brizy, Brizy Pro, and your diagnostic tool. Then, run the PHP diagnostics again. If the error no longer appears, it confirms that Brizy isn’t the cause.

From there, reactivate your other plugins one at a time, running the diagnostics tool after each activation. When the error reappears, the last plugin you activated is likely responsible. If it's outdated, try updating it. Once all plugins are compatible with PHP 8.0, you should be able to safely switch back to the newer PHP version. If the issue persists, you may need to contact the plugin developer and report the problem.

Please give this a try and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    HI Ariel.

I reverted to the old PHP version, but it caused several issues on the site — blocks and various errors. I couldn’t even open it. I quickly updated to PHP 8.3, and now everything is working fine.

The only plugin still showing errors is Brizy. There were a few others that weren’t necessary and were causing issues, so they were removed.

I would appreciate your guidance, as I can’t risk having the sales pages suddenly stop working or anything else going wrong. Thank you.

    Hi Cristina,

Thanks for the update. The latest version of Brizy should be compatible with PHP 8.3. If your compatibility checker is still showing otherwise, rest assured, it should update soon, as compatibility data sometimes takes a bit of time to reflect the latest releases.

Also, please keep in mind that if a plugin isn’t compatible with your PHP version, it would typically generate an error or warning when activated. If Brizy is running smoothly on your site, it’s a good sign that it’s working fine with your current PHP version.

Let us know if you run into any issues or need further assistance.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
