Brizy Pro 2.7.1 and content blocks Blocksy Pro 2.1.3
Hi, has anyone had this issue also? After upgrading to Brizy Pro 2.7.1, Brizy doesn't load into Blocksy content blocks any more. I use Blocksy content blocks as header and footer of the site.
The content of the blocks is made with Brizy Pro. Worked as a charm before the Brizy update. I already checked the connection between Brizy and Blocksy in Brizy Settings panel.
Major bummer as I wanted to go live with a client site tomorrow!
Only working solution I found is making Brizy Global blocks and put them manually above and below the body content of every page. MANUALLY work on about 20 pages! Also have to do this for new pages coming up.
Any suggestions for a quick solution?
Thanks in advance.

popup windows are not working with the newest updates. When you create a link and have the option for Page, URL, Block "Popup" File.

Hi Ariel,
I have updated my dev site with Blocksy Pro 2.1.4. Nothing changed. Content blocks are not loading correctly with Brizy content as before.

Hi Milan,
Thank you for reaching out, and I’m really sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing.
Upon checking, it looks like the issue may be related to a compatibility conflict between Brizy Pro 2.7.1 and how Blocksy handles its content blocks. Since you’re using Brizy-built content inside Blocksy’s header and footer blocks, it’s possible that recent changes in how Brizy compiles or renders content are affecting how it's loaded within those Blocksy areas.
The fact that Brizy Global Blocks still work suggests that Brizy itself is functioning as expected, but Blocksy may no longer be able to render Brizy content blocks the same way it did before the update.
As a temporary solution, we recommend rolling back to the previous working backup if you're in a time-sensitive situation.
Apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you again for your understanding.
Best regards,

2) After updating Brizy (2.7.3) and Brizy Pro (2.7.1) to their latest version, the site malfunctions in rendering the Blocksy content blocks in header and footer area. Just empty space.END CONCLUSION:
Issues are caused by the latest Brizy versions.
To be thorough I also tested with a bare bones theme. I disabled Blocksy for this test.

Premium version (latest)
I wanted to make the same architecture with sections made by the theme with Brizy Pro content to render on the frontend.
This gave even a worse result:
There has been a critical error on this website.

[UPDATE 250720: Today I tested the same structure with Astra Pro theme. I could work in the backend and save the header template section. On thte frontened Astra just rendered their own header without CSS. No Brizy content as expected in the header section. Another evidence that Brizy causes the issues. ]
Maybe your Brizy developers can make a working build (well tested on WP 6.8.2) from Brizy 2.6.22 and Brizy Pro 2.6.14 without breaking changes to sites. Seeing the amount of complaints or refunds in this forum makes me sad. I had good hopes for working with Brizy WP, but now I have angry customers who don't understand what the delay is to going live with their sites.

Sorry Ariel,
I did a rebuilt of the whole project with Blocksy Pro and Elementor Pro.
My customers couldn't wait any longer.
For now I am leaving Brizy.
Wish you all the best as I see there are many more issues to solve.

Hi Milan,
I completely understand your decision, especially when timelines and customer needs are a priority. I’m sorry to hear that Brizy didn’t work out for your current project, and I appreciate you giving it a try.
I wish you all the best with your new setup using Blocksy Pro and Elementor Pro, and I hope your project goes smoothly from here. If you decide to revisit Brizy in the future, we’d be happy to have you back.
