Brizy error: "There was an error trying to render this element" even on clean install
Hi,
I'm experiencing a critical issue with Brizy (both Free and Pro). Whenever I try to edit or add a element (even something simple like a button, image, icon), I get this message in the editor:
"There was an error trying to render this element. You can open a support ticket or remove this element."
This happens even in a clean WordPress installation with:
-
Default theme (Twenty Twenty),
-
Only Brizy and Brizy Pro activated (no other plugins),
-
Latest WordPress and Brizy versions,
-
New page with just one element (like a Button).
I've already tried:
-
Deactivating all other plugins,
-
Switching between different default themes,
-
Clearing Brizy cache (
wp-content/uploads/brizy/), -
Reinstalling Brizy and Brizy Pro,
-
Creating new pages with default blocks.
👉 Important detail:
I tested this in the same browser (Safari) on another WordPress site, with the same Brizy setup — and there everything works perfectly.
So it's not a browser issue — the problem is specific to this one WordPress installation.
Any ideas? Is there a deeper reset I can do, or is it a known issue?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Ariel, thanks for reply.
I've just sent info.I figured out myself, that there is no error when im using Chrome, but still, if it's in possible, I prefer Safari.
Kind Regards,

Hi. How it's going?
I've seen new updates in Wordpress - 2.7.0. Should I update?0 -
Hi Karol,
Thank you for the update.
Since the site works fine in Chrome, the issue might be related to Safari's settings or cache. When you get a chance, please try resetting Safari to its factory defaults using this guide: https://www.devicemag.com/reset-safari-to-default/
We also recommend making sure that both Brizy and Brizy Pro are updated to the latest versions.
Let me know how it goes or if the problem persists.
Kind regards,
