    Hello Geoff,

The Export HTML feature is ideal for smaller website with 5-10 pages. For website with 50 plus pages, the Export HTML is not a good publishing option. Kindly consider the "Server Sync" option to publish your website following the procedure at https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360027008491-Server-Sync

    Hi K C,

Thank you for your reply and for the information regarding the Server Sync option. However, getting embroiled with PHP and folder permissions on my webhost's server is a bad fit for me!!

To give a little more detail, I have been successfully using the Html Download functionality for several years, and although, as I have added more pages, the time taken for the download to start has increased, it has worked very well. Even with more than 50 pages, it has been working fine up until a couple of days ago. Also, I need the option to add over 600 pages generated by my own programme that runs against one of the Html Download pages that I use as a template - my programme simply modifies the underlying html slightly - and then I upload all those pages to my server with the other Brizy-generated html pages. I don't believe its possible for me to upload these pages, that are generated completely outside the Brizy software, to the Brizy server?

I do hope the Html Download can be made to work again, as it is by far my preferred option.

    Thanks.

    Geoff

    Hello Geoff,

Please try this and see if it helps to resolve the issue. Kindly download the file at https://jmp.sh/aKmDRGQK to your computer, upload it to the site root of https://www.fairbritannia.org/ and check if the site navigation works well again.

    Hi K C,

Many thanks indeed, that file fixed the links immediately!! Super.

There was an .htaccess file already on the server containing the following code :

    #+PHPVersion
    #="php82"
    AddHandler x-httpd-php82 .php
    #-PHPVersion

So I had to change the name of this file in order to add the new .htaccess file, so am a bit concerned that this missing file might cause something to break further down the line. Just to be on the safe side, is there a way to combine the previous code with the code in the new .htaccess file?

    Thank you.

    Geoff

    Hello Geoff,

For the Export HTML files to display your website design, you would not need the .htaccess file you had in your server earlier. The new .htaccess file you have uploaded is sufficient.

We have revised the procedure for the Export HTML at https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360026945332-Export-HTML
