This page needs a refresh" despite all checks performed
Hello,
I am encountering a recurring issue with my WordPress site using Brizy Pro. Every time I update a page, the following message appears:
"This page needs a refresh. You have probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser."
Here are the steps I have already taken to try to resolve this issue:
- Cache cleared: I cleared the browser cache, WordPress cache, and server cache.
- Single tab editing: I make sure to edit only one page at a time and do not have any other tabs with the Brizy editor open.
- Theme switched: I tested with another theme to rule out potential conflicts.
- Sufficient memory: The memory limit is properly set to 512 MB.
- All updates performed: WordPress, Brizy (both free and Pro versions), and all other plugins and the active theme are fully updated.
- Server performance: The hosting server is robust, with no overload or limitations detected.
Despite these precautions, the issue persists. This behavior makes editing very challenging, as the page refreshes and I sometimes lose the changes I’ve made.
Do you have any solutions or suggestions to address this problem? If needed, I can provide additional information about my setup or temporary access for diagnostics.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,
-

Hi Maxime,
Thank you for your cooperation.
Upon checking, the issue is caused by WordFence. To resolve this, we've set it to learning mode for a few days so it can recognize actions taken by Brizy. It will automatically switch back to protected mode in 3 days, allowing sufficient time for WordFence to learn the actions. After this period, it should no longer interfere with your editing or pages. This is demonstrated on this screencast: https://youtu.be/KtjW7Qa3yg4
