    Hi Janet,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    This is how it's designed to work: You are currently in the translation interface in TranslatePress, which is very similar to the Customizer. To translate any element on a page, hover over each element, click the pencil icon, and edit or update the translation in the right sidebar.

    For more information, please refer to this link: https://youtu.be/Jl7NQ_UHYrU?si=XC_SuWS1VCWe-nlZ

    Brizy Cloud also has a built-in translation feature. You can find more information here: https://youtu.be/tDFEVOCSyvU?si=qjDD8JXfeeek99Oz

    If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel, how would you change the font type then on the brizy builder?

    Is that the only we can do the translation via translatepress? It doesnt work smoothly

    if there is excessive wording that we need to delete, how can we do it then?

    Hi Janet,

    Thank you for keeping in touch.

    When you click the pencil icon to translate a text block, you'll see two fields in the left sidebar: one for the original language content and one for the translated text.

    In the translated text field, you can reduce or delete any excessive wording.

    If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel,

    Thanks, but what I meant is the excessive wording (in English) that has already been translated into our language.

    We wish to remove it in the language version we need.

    Additional question - how would you change the font type in the language we are using (not English) ?

    Moreover, if I try to bring the text to next line - what shall i do?

    Hi Janet,

    Could you please create a short screencast demonstrating the issue you're facing? This will help us better understand the problem.

    Best regards,

    See the link Ariel, there are 3 issues  with the translator.

    1. If I wanted to bring the translated text down to the line, I can't do it.

    2. The text has been translated, and there are excessive words that can not be removed. ( 2 examples shown)

    3. How can I edit the font type for translated text?

    If they are not feasible, what would your suggestion be?

    ?

    Ok - so you suggested using Translatepress and now that you are asking me to reach out to their support.

    How should I reach out, and what if they say this is not the premium plan and won't provide support?

    Translate press support/resources do not have what we wanted.

    In fact, this might be relevant to Brizy Builder because everytime when we have the custom text needs to be translated - it will change to the random font type. Below is what I put on the Customisation, what can I do with the custom text ( using Confidente)

    @import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Open+Sans:wght@400;700&display=swap');

    body.translatepress-zh_CN,
    body.translatepress-zh_CN * {
        font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif !important;
    }

    /* Make headers bold */
    body.translatepress-zh_CN h1,
    body.translatepress-zh_CN h2,
    body.translatepress-zh_CN h3 {
        font-weight: 700 !important; /* 700 is the font-weight for bold in Open Sans */
    }

    @font-face {
        font-family: 'Confidente Regular';
        src: url('https://morphosfamily.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Confidente-Demo.ttf') format('truetype');
    }

    body.translatepress-zh_CN .custom-class {
        font-family: 'Confidente Regular', sans-serif;
        font-size: 24px;
        line-height: 1.5;
    }

    Hi Janet,

    Thank you for following up.

    I tested uploading a custom font on a test site, but the font type remained unchanged when switching to the translated page.

    This issue is likely caused by caching. I recommend temporarily disabling your caching plugins while working on your pages. Once your changes are complete, purge the cache and re-enable the plugin.

    Please give this a try and let me know if it helps.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Sent. Also, a question for the second translated language: how can we change the layout? The layout is off with some of them being displayed incorrectly in the mobile.

    Hi Janet,

    It appears that you’re using custom decorative fonts that may not include glyphs for Traditional Chinese characters. Many decorative or custom fonts often lack full support for such characters.

    When a font doesn’t have the necessary glyphs, browsers typically replace them with a system font or a font from the CSS fallback list (e.g., Arial, Microsoft JhengHei, or SimSun).

    To resolve this, look for decorative fonts explicitly designed with multilingual Chinese. Alternatively, you can opt for a simpler font with broader language coverage.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    The special custom font, however, shows up on certain pages but not all, which means it does work in this scenario.

    What about this --> a question for the second translated language: how can we change the layout? The layout is off with some of them being displayed incorrectly in the mobile. What I meant is that some Chinese character may not align properly due to the excessive word

    Hi Janet,

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible to directly edit translated pages. Some users work around this by rephrasing and shortening the content in the original language, which results in a more concise translation as well.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Janet,

    Could you please share a screenshot of the page where the issue appears? Also, could you provide the exact name of the cursive font you're using so I can replicate it in my testing environment?

    I will send you a list via email as this is not hthe right place to show. You can access to the site using the previous credentials

    Hi Janet,

    Could you please check with your hosting provider if they have any server-side caching enabled? I have imported some of the affected pages on my testing site and they seem to show the translated blocks correctly. Here are a few examples:

    Thanks, checking right now. On the other side, the translated font is not delivered consistently on the website if you switch to Chinese version and that is the custom code i have put into the custom CSS but they are not rendered properly.

    Hi Janet, thank you for the update. I’ve spent several hours trying to reproduce the pages. The issue appears to be related to caching. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them how to purge the cache. Here’s an example of another page I downloaded from your site, where the fonts in the popup are rendered correctly: https://youtu.be/K8ITnPNoLnk
