Duplicate page / Content
-
Hi Stefan,
If a Brizy Cloud Blog post has the URL https://www.stefanblejeru.com/tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru and if its category is 'matrimonio' the blog post will also be available at https://www.stefanblejeru.com/matrimonio/tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru
You can have duplicate content on your website as long as you inform search engines which page should be indexed. There are 3 ways you can inform search engines which of the duplicate pages must be indexed.
- Redirects: When you redirect Page 1 to Page 2, Google will index Page 2 (and exclude Page 1)
- Use Canonical Tags: If you add a canonical tag in Page 1 pointing to Page 2, Google will index Page 2 (and will exclude Page 1)
- Sitemap inclusion: If you include Page 2 in your sitemap and exclude Page 1, it indicates to search engines that you want Page 2 to be indexed and Page 1 should be excluded
Please refer to this article. How to specify a canonical with rel="canonical" and other methods Your Sitemap at https://www.stefanblejeru.com/sitemap.xml includes Page 2 and excludes Page 1. You can also add a redirect in Brizy Cloud from Page 1 to Page 2. Here is the procedure Redirects

Hello George and thank you for the reply. The problem is that I don't have a post with that url. It's all about a page that is listing all my blog posts and its category is All "tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru“ and it's not a" Matrimonio" category.
The correct page is "https://www.stefanblejeru.com/tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru"
The wrong page that I don't find anywhere in the cms dashboard is "https://www.stefanblejeru.com/matrimonio/tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru“ I need to cancel this but is not reachable by me.

Hi Stefan,
I could not identify the post either. Do you know the name of the Blog Post with the slug https://www.stefanblejeru.com/tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru?

Sorry for the delay ! It's not a post, is a category named " Tutto " with the slug " tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru "

Hi Stefan,
This is due to the way category slug is currently setup in Brizy Cloud. Let's say a Brizy Cloud blog has 3 categories; Category1, Category2 and Category3. The default Category Archive slug for these 3 categories are
- https://www.website.com/category1
However, the category archive page for Category1 is also available under these 3 slugs
- http://www.website.com/category1/category1
- http://www.website.com/category2/category1
- http://www.website.com/category3/category1
This is an undesirable outcome which leads to duplicate content. I have reported this and we will work on fixing it.
In the meantime, please follow instructions in this article to setup redirects to take care of duplicate content. How to specify a canonical with rel="canonical" and other methods You could add the following redirect command under CMS- Project Settings - Redirects
/matrimonio/tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru /tutti-gli-articoli-blog-stefan-blejeru
