Sitemap on external hosting not created

If we are hosting sites externally, are sitemaps being created? It doesn't seem like they are. I think if someone is hosting externally, the sitemap should be included in the export package and updated any time a new page/post/category is created. Can you advise?

  No, it isn't. That sitemap is one I created and placed in the file. Have a look at https://ctrubberstone.com/sitemap.xml. It doesn't exist. Instead it just redirects to the homepage.

  You can download the file and upload it into the root directory of your website.

  A new site that I launched 2 days ago at https://resurfaceyourugly.com ALSO does not have the sitemap created and accessible. This is hurting SEO and I shouldn't have to create and upload a sitemap each and every time I create a blog post/etc.

  I'm redirecting www to non www. I don't think this should cause an issue, but maybe it is? Can you guys make sure that the sitemap works with non www sites?
