But calendly is a booking appointment system, is not for publish events that we have like a onsite meeting, a presentation or similar.

I am asking (and so many users in your forum) for something like this https://theeventscalendar.com/, but no wp plugin have good compatibily and integration.

    Hello,

The Events PRO calendar is compatible with Brizy Wordpress, so at the moment we will not add a separate calendar element. But, I send all your request to our managers.

    Best regards, Nelea.

Its not compatible, is doesnt work fine, we already try that plugin some days ago with shortcodes.

How is the way you tested to say that it is fully compatible? have any working demo?

The content wasnt loading fine last time we check.

    Hi

The The Events Calendar plugin is partially compatible with Brizy. If you use the Events Shortcodes For The Events Calendar along with the above plugin, you can create pages like these using Brizy.

If you buy the Events Calendar Pro you will have shortcodes which will make the plugin more compatible with Brizy. You can use the Brizy Shortcode element to display the event details.

If i use that shortcodes, events listing works fine but the hyperlinks will load the default event page, in which i wont have my custom header/footer or brizy template working... so how can i fix that?

    Hi

Please follow these steps to develop the Brizy Single Event template.

    • Add a new Brizy Template with the following Display Condition

    • Publish the template and click on 'Edit with Brizy' to design your Single Event Brizy template.
    • Add the global header and global footer to the template
    • In between the header and the footer, add a blank block and drag and Title element to the template for the Event Title

    • Drag and 'Content' element to the template to display the even details and save your work.

    Works fine.

But what about display the date and hour of the event?

    Hi

If you have added the date and hour to the event, it should display like this in your template. Please have a look at this test event https://brizytest.online/event/yoga-class

    Hi,

Of course it have date and hour, and in doesnt display with the 'content', neither the image, i have to add 'featured image'. But i can't find which one use to display date and hour. 'Info' displays the one who make the event and when, but not the other info.

    Thanks.

    Hi

In my Brizy Template for the single event, I have just added two elements.

    1. Title element
    2. Content element

The Content element displays a lot of information about the event including the date, venue and the featured image.

If you give me access to your project, I can take a look. Please add me as a user to your WordPress Dashboard if you need assistance with this. My email: kc.george@brizy.io. As shown in this screenshot: https://jmp.sh/sOSGGR3, please turn on the option "Send the new user an email about their account"

Please let me know here when you send me an invitation.

    Hi

Can you please check the event page now? https://alladixital.org/event/evento-de-prueba-123/  The event details are visible now. https://jmp.sh/34AligXc

The behavior of the Events plugin was a bit erratic. While I was trying different options, the template started showing the details. I am not sure which specific setting helped.

    Hi

Unfortunately, we lack expertise in the Events plugin. Since this problem relates to the Events plugin, the Events plugin support team may be better suited to comment.

If you are unsuccessful in solving this problem, you can consider a workaround. The Advanced Custom Fields plugin can be used to add the event date and time, and the Brizy Text element can be used to show the date and time by using #field name. You could use the Excerpt element in place of the Content element in the Brizy Template.

The events supports is not answering us: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/date-and-hour-fields-doesnt-show-up-in-the-backend/

If we cannot solve this we may use your workaround, but you should consider give this or another plugin fully compatibility.

    Hi

The The Events Calendar Support has replied to your post. Please try their suggestion.

You could also try this. Twenty Twenty One theme works well with The Events Calendar as per this article. https://theeventscalendar.com/blog/tips/compatible-themes-for-the-events-calendar/ Brizy also works well with Twenty Twenty One. You could try changing your theme to Twenty Twenty One and see if that makes a difference.

    Sorry to bother again..

When i disable "Enable the Gutenberg block editor interface for creating events." I can edit in the backend all the info of the event, but the event page (with brizy template) doesnt load all the info (as the origin of this post).

If if enable the check again, then i cant edit the info in the backend, but it is showed again in the events page.

    Hi,

This means Brizy and The Events Calendar plugin do not work with each other smoothly. May be you should delete all the date and the time from the Events and add it using ACF. Then you can display date and time using the Text element and specifying the ACF dynamic filed

So note it to improve and implement. With that compatibility will good enough.

    Hi

We are currently not working on this compatibility. It may take a many more months before we can make progress on this.

In the meantime, please consider another work around to overcome the incompatibility issue. You can use the Default Page Template for all your pages. In the Brizy editor, on the left sidebar, select the Page icon and then select 'Default' option under 'Page Template'. Your page will refresh with the theme header and the theme footer. Once you set all your pages to the Default Template, you can use the Event Calendar pages as it is without adding a Brizy design. All pages of your website will have the same header and the footer including the Event pages.

The header and footer needs to be redesigned in your theme for this option to work. Please have a look at https://echophotoph.com/ for an example for a Brizy website with Default Page Template.

I had some success with turning on Gutenberg editor to get single page to display

Also not sure the shortcode and plugin needed can use the widget they have for it which is much the same

    What about this compatibility?

    How is it now?

    Hi,

Thank you for staying in touch.

I apologize for the delay in addressing your request. Due to shifting priorities, we have not made progress on this matter. Nevertheless, please be assured that your request is still open. However, we are currently unable to provide an exact date for when this will be available.

The solution that KC George has suggested is the only workaround that we can offer for now.

I also encourage you to post your request on our website at https://www.brizy.io/ideas-and-roadmap. This will allow other users who are also in need of this feature to vote and possibly garner more support for your request.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
