How best to setup image without cropping?

Hello,

I have set up all my images to fit in a Photoshop canvas of 320 by 200.

I want these to show without cropping on the front end. So I have used the settings for 160 by 100 hoping that it will render in the right proportion for all images. This does not work. By playing with the height and width, the best results were for 232 by 100.

What am I doing wrong? How should I understand the logic used in Brizy to render images in constrained proportions?  See screenshot below:

  1. Custom: If you want your images to be resized for performance for different devices, choose “Custom” option
  2. Original: If you would like to retain the original resolution and size of your images on your website, choose “Original”
