products not showing on product category page

Hi there,

i have an issue which my client has just contacted me about. The products are not showing on the live site, as they were previously for the past year. All of a sudden the product categories are showing but the products/category pages are all blank. I have tried everything as it looks fine in Brizy editor but not on the site.

 

Live site: (for some reason showing the news instead of products)

 

Any ideas why this is happening? It is making the site completely unusable.

  Hi Ryan,

  We apologize for this inconvenience. This is happening due to a bug with Brizy. We have fixed this bug at our end and testing it now. We hope to release a new update in the next few days with a fix for this issue.

  Hi George,

  Thanks for your response. I just updated the plugins but unfortunately, this didn't fix anything. I am still getting the same issue, replacing the products with the news.

   

  Since this is a live client site, it is costing them a lot of traffic and money in lost quotes so I would really like to get this sorted asap if possible.

  Hi Ryan,

  I have recreated the Product Category Archive Template. It appears to be functioning properly now. I hadn't seen the original layout of your archive page for product categories. I've added a preliminary design; please customize the product archive page to suit your preferences.

  Hi Ryan,

  I do not know what the problem was and why recreating it fixed the issue. Sometimes the files can get corrupted. Recreating helps in those cases.
