make a page into landing page

I edited quite a bit and in the process somehow my landing page is not correct.  Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?  It is identified as HOME and in my customize for Wordpress it is selected as the home page or 'landing' page.

  I apologise; I was unable to fully grasp the problem you were experiencing. Would you kindly elaborate a little more?

  1. What specific aspect of your landing page is incorrect?
  2. Would you like your landing page to be your homepage?

  Please provide a screenshot or two if you can to illustrate your issue.

  No apologies ---I'm confused as much as can be! The website Womansreliefcorps.org seemed to work great and all was published. I logged on and learned that it was only working through dashboard. When I went to the site from a different browser it showed up as a very basic look with none of the pretty stuff created in brizy.

  I realized the home page had not been properly set. So I went to Appearance-Menu-Read-and then set the pages for main page and for blog. Then I clicked on it in a different browser and the main page or "Home" worked and one time only the page "History Herstory" worked as well. The other pages did not. Then the second time I tried it only the home or landing page worked.

  Now only the landing or home page is working. All the links show a "page not found". https://womansreliefcorps.org/index.php/main-page-about-start/ = main or home page. Click that. Then look at the menu. Click any of these and it will pop up page not found.

  P S - the theme is "Museum". I'm not married to that. It can be switched if that's necessary

  Hi Kathy,

  The paths on your website appear broken. For instance, instead of redirecting to https://womansreliefcorps.org/index.php/main-page-about-start/, your homepage should be https://womansreliefcorps.org/. Hopefully, the menu links will function properly if the path issues are resolved.

  update: I have been trying to do different things hoping to figure out what I did or didn't do. I went through all the pages and posts and took them to draft or pending review and then brought them back up after checking to see if there were any glaring issues. Then I tried editing the landing page to add a couple elements so the website won't be hurting so much---but--it won't allow me. It says I am attempting to edit a draft page--but it's a published page.

  I'm sorry I've made such a mess. The pages look good in the builder. Unfortunately they are not functioning. Can you help me?

  Hi Kathy,

  I was able to log in to your website, but I was unable to access the WordPress Dashboard and I got this error. It's possible that I don't have enough rights to view your Dashboard.

  You stated that you had given me the Editor role. This role could be limited to troubleshoot the issue you re facing. I would prefer administrator role.

  Hi Kathy,

  I have fixed the path problem on your website. There is no longer a redirect from your homepage to https://womansreliefcorps.org/index.php/main-page-about-start/. The navigation links take visitors to various pages on your website.

  Please check if everything functions as expected.

  Thank you so very much! I had zero clue what I did to mess it up. I do have a question --- if I create additional pages or posts, will I have any problem with this same issue?

  Hi Kathy,

  Some of the settings were wrong. Everything should continue to function properly if you don't modify the settings. If you just add more pages and posts, this problem is unlikely to recur.
