Bilingual webpage
Hi KC,
we finally launched our new website. Thank you for your great support on the issues that came up along the way! You were really helpful.
Now that we published the site we are looking into the possibility of offering a blingual version. So we thought of having a "switch language" button on the menu bar somewhere that allows to switch between the current German site to an English version.
Do you have any recommendations or suggested plugins that we should be using within Brizy to implement this? As far as I understand this basically means, making a double version of each single page in English Version and linking them up so the work like a separate English website and then using a plugin that links from any page of the German website, when the user is hitting the "switch-language" Button, to the respective sister page of the English Version and vice verca correct?
If you have any experience, intel or recommendation on this toppic that would be very helpful, so we know where to start.
Best regards,
Max

Hi Max,
Three translation plugins are being used by Brizy customers to put up their multilingual websites, as far as I can tell.
- WPML
- Polylang
- Translate Press
Any of these plugins will function properly with Brizy if you are creating regular pages (and not blog posts). Among WordPress users, WPML is the most popular translation tool and appears more comprehensive.
Your project may get more complex if you add a blog; you will have one set of Brizy Templates for German and another set for English. You will need one set of Display Conditions for the German pages and another set for English.
Brizy and WPML were used in the development of this multilingual website: https://vitarights.de/
