301 Redirect URLS Elimination

Good day! We would like to ask your help on how to eliminate the 301 redirect URLs that are in our website.

 

An example is from https://stripepage.com/ to

https://stripepage.com/home     A video link is attached- https://www.berrycast.com/conversations/b117830b-e1c8-57da-963a-531c86b173b3 for your reference.   Thank you so much!

  Hi Steven,

  These pages do not get redirected to https://stripepage.com/. Please click on these links and check for yourself.

  1. https://stripepage.com/contact-us
  2. https://stripepage.com/fort-smith-the-city-that-has-everything
  3. https://stripepage.com/portfolio

  However if you type the URL https://stripepage.com/home it redirects to https://stripepage.com/ Since the page is non existent, getting redirected to the homepage makes sense. 

  I guess you don't have a reason to be concerned.

  Thank you George. So do you think we should just keep everything the way that it is, or would be be able to avoid this “redirect” warning by changing the slug from stripepage.com/home to just stripepage.com? Steven

  Hi Steven,

  Yes; keep everything the way it is.

  Does your website truly exist at stripepage.com/home? Because there is no such page, the URL redirects to your homepage.
