Deadlock Error - Blocksy Theme

Our website use Brizy Pro + Blocksy Theme. It went down a few times and when we had a look at the error logs, the logs pointed to the theme/plugin "blocksy" causing a lot of deadlocks. The error logs are filled with these.

Got error 'PHP message: WordPress database error Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction for query DELETE FROM `wp_options` WHERE `option_name` = '_transient_global_styles_svg_filters_blocksy'

  Hi Souvik,

  In general, the error "Deadlock Found When Trying To Get Lock" is an indication that two simultaneous transactions lock the same database keys. You could try these

  1. If you are using the Blocksy companion plugin, deactivate it and then see if the error stops and activate again.
  2. Consider changing your theme to Astra or Twenty Twenty One and see if that helps. If the error stops, activate Blocksy again.
