Search within a page
Hello KC!
Sorry to send so many questions lately but I am working on this project and it's the first time I am exploring most of Brizy's functionalities.
I want to create a kind of Help/Knowledgebase page. Something similar (but less complex) to the Brizy support area. I think I will use the accordion element for the questions and answers. I also consider doing some kind of custom post types... or even a category within the posts area but then I'd have more questions... so first things first...
Is there a way to use the "search" element but restrict the search results to my help page? So someone searching would only get results within that page...
What I want to avoid is getting blog posts or pages coming up if someone is searching for a FAQ.
If I go the "blog category" route, instead of having a single page with a long accordion, is there a way to exclude my knowledgebase posts from the blog pages (archive, search results, latest posts, etc)?
So basically I am suggesting two different options for a "help center" kind of situation.
1. Would be to create a single page with a long list of questions and answers organized in an accordion. In this case, I would like to be able to have a "search" area for this single page so content would not get mixed up with other things on the website.
2. Would be to create a new post category like "help" and create regular blog posts for each topic. But then I would want to exclude these posts from the blog and have their own separate area. So the "help" posts could not appear in the new post, blog archives, etc...
Do you have any ideas on how I could achieve this or what my best options could be to create something like this in Brizy?
I appreciate your help. Best regards, Sofia

Hi Sofia,
Please look through this list of plugins and see if one of these would be suitable for your need. https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-knowledge-base-plugins-for-wordpress-compared/
Some of these plugins may not be compatible with Brizy. Knowledgebase pages can have a slightly different look compared to the rest of the website. You can consider setting up the knowledgebase using the default page template instead of using the Brizy template.
