Dividers used with gradient overlays
I have a site im trying to make and i wanted it to look like this:
Header block at the top has the logo centered with a gradient color overlay for the background.
next block has in image background with white faded overlay
I'm trying to add a divider design between these two blocks, but when selecting a color for the divider, I can't select a gradient like I can with the block background. How I can make this work? I've tried adding a divider to the bottom of the top block, then adjusting the margin, as well as visa versa (divider applied to top of middle block), but in both cases, the second block is layered on top of the 1st block, so you get a line going through the divider from the image below. is there a way to use dividers while also using gradient overlays?

You are right; gradient background overlays may not work well when you combine it with Dividers. Since applying a gradient color to the Divider is not an option, you may nee to use a solid color for your header background so that it blends well with your Divider color.
If you apply a gradient background color to the second block, that should be fine I guess.
