Created Page on Template, but unable to Publish

I created a coming soon page under template instead of creating it on pages.  I am unable to publish from the template.  I click the publish button, but the Wordpress page continues to pop up when going to the URL.  Is it possible to copy the Template information to the Page so I don't have to recreate what I've already made in the template?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi Jared,

  Yes; it is possible to transfer the design from your Template to a Page. Here are the steps

  1. Open the Template you have added in Brizy
  2. On the right hand side bottom corner, click on 'Save Layout' (see the attached image). This will save your template as a layout.
  3. Open a new page and click on the plus icon in the middle of the page. In the block/layout library that opens up, select the 'Saved' tab and then 'Layouts' on the left sidebar. https://jmp.sh/hzkOTWf  
  4. Import the layout you have saved in step 2 and save the page by clicking on 'Update' button.

  Great!  I did that, but the Hello world page is still showing up after creating a new page.  I went into Reading and set a static page to my homepage and it still is showing the previous WP theme.
