Site and Blog Redesign
Hello Brizy! I am wondering if I can redesign an existing blog with Brizy.
It was done with Elementor in the past and the client wants to completely change it, but keep all the content (several pages and a blog). How could I do this?
Thank you in advance, Sofia

Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
You cannot redesign a page from Elementor in Brizy builder, you should do it from scratch. You should do a new blog in Brizu builder and copy all the information from the Elementor page.
Best regards, Nelea.

Hi Nelea! Thank you very much for getting back to me.
I understand that I have to design each page again in Brizy. And so I'll have to add the previous content manually.
Is that process normally done in a separate WordPress install or simply by creating a new page?
And regarding the blog posts and comments since they are already on WordPress itself, would there be a way to simply update the format for Brizy?
Have a good day, Sofia

Hi Sofia,
If the blog posts were created using the Elementor single blog post template, all blog posts must be available in Gutenberg. You can delete the Elementor Single Blog Post template and create a Brizy Single Blog Post template. In the same way, you can delete the Elementor Blog Archive template and create a Brizy Blog Archive template.
To recreate the content in Brizy, please redesign the header and footer in Brizy and make it global. View every page in preview and copy paste the content from the front end and recreate the design block by block.
Even though you can redesign the live site, since this is a major change, you may want to create a staging site first, do the redesign in staging and then migrate to the live site later.
