Brizy form getting message email was not sent

Hi Brizy,

 

I keep getting the message: YOUR EMAIL WAS NOT SENT 

And i do not receive an email from this lead. I followed instruction from your site, security in Gmail access to less secure apps is on and still the problem is there. I do get the leads in wordpress but would like the email to works also. 

 

Can you please help me with this problem?

  Hi Klaas,

  Google is withdrawing support for "Less secure app access". You can read more about it here. Keeping in step with Google's initiative to make app access more secure, we recommend this approach for sending Email Notifications through Gmail.

  1. Sign into your Gmail and click on your Profile and select "Manage Your Google Account". https://jmp.sh/s67F1pg
  2. On the left sidebar under 'Security'  enable Two-step verification. https://jmp.sh/Z08uEaD
  3. In the security page, under the heading "Signing in to Google" click on 'App Passwords' and generate an 'App Password' for the Brizy Form. https://jmp.sh/uis4rTC
  4. In the Brizy form, in the Gmail password field, copy paste the app password. https://jmp.sh/MoDUn1v
  5. Save your project by clicking on 'Update'
