Contact form and emails not working
My contact forms stopped working many months ago. I've sought support several times. With brizy saying the block seeming to be from godaddy's hosing. I had some other issues as well, with my subscription/billing service that I thought were related, but since got them worked out and they seem unrelated. About a year ago it was found there was malware infecting my site from another that I had, but that site was closed and I got advanced security through godaddy to prevent it happening again, but doing so did not fix the contact forms.
However, I'm using "ultimate membership pro" for subscriptions and though that's working, users are not getting their introductory/welcome emails, nor their emails to change passwords. Related?
I just got off the phone with "advanced hosting" at godaddy and they assure me that there is no block on there end. Yet he gets an error message, the same as me, when he tries to send a message with my contact form. He says it's IMMEDIATE, which he thought was relevant as though it was a "front end problem." He wanted me to ask what the username and password entered with SMTP and gmail were for? Admin? Or for my gmail accounts?
Also when I set up the contact form it lets me put in data for wordpress, SMTP, and gmail. And I'm thinking it should only be one of the three? Yet I can't unclick them. That page is here: https://spinalflowyoga.com/contact-chad-reilly/
I just set up a test page with each of the three brizy form setting (wordpress, SMTP, gmail), each here and none seem to work, though the wordpress one says the message is sent, but it does not come to my email. That page is here: https://spinalflowyoga.com/formtest2/
In addition I made a contact form through jetpack, and it says "message sent" however the message does not get through. That page is here: https://spinalflowyoga.com/gutenberg/
Please help

Hi Chad,
GoDaddy does not normally allow you to use the PHP Mail, the default WordPress email sending feature. If you buy their email hosting service, you can send out emails using their SMTP server. Have you signed up with either their Professional or Microsoft 365 service?
Since you need an SMTP service for Brizy forms and Ultimate Membership Pro, I recommend these steps.
- Install the WP Mail SMTP plugin
- Add an SMTP server using the Other SMTP option in the plugin. You can either use the GoDaddy SMTP (if you have signed up with their email service) or Gmail SMTP (if you have a Gmail account). https://jmp.sh/dtw0xMN The plugin allows you to send out test emails. Check if you receive the test email.
- In Brizy form, select the WordPress option
As you have rightly pointed out, there is no option to uncheck an Email Notification option in the Brizy form. Here is a work around to ensure that you have only one option selected.
- At the right hand side top corner of your Brizy form, select the 'Duplicate' icon and duplicate the form
- Setup the WordPress option in the Duplicated form. (You can copy paste the settings from the original form if you like)
- Delete the Original form
If you are not able to make it work, please get back to us. We will set up the SMTP for you. You will need to give us access to your WordPress Dashboard.

Hi, thank you for the response. I don't have the Professional or Microsoft 365 service. I just called godaddy and they aren't too expensive. Would you suggest I go that route, as opposed to through gmail?

Hi Chad,
For sending out form email notifications and Ultimate Membership Pro emails, you don't need to sign up with GoDaddy email service. Gmail SMTP server (or any other SMTP server) is sufficient for this purpose. If you need email addresses like chad@spinalflowyoga.com, then please go for their email service.
For setting up Gmail server with the plugin, you will need the SMTP server details in this page. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7104828?hl=en&visit_id=637931988088872841-1223041856&rd=1
