Code to close poup upon clicking an item...

Hi there! Here's my site:

I created a button that opens a popup with a shortcode to a table of content plugin.

I'd like the popup to close once an item is selected and the navigation scrolls to the desired section.

Let me know your thoughts on how to accomplish this.

  Hi Alexander,

  It is not possible to close the popup when clicking on one of the items in the table of contents. Let me suggest an alternate design concept.

  Take a look at the vertical menu bar on the left of this website https://www.whitefrontier.ch/. You can design a fixed vertical menu like this using Brizy popup. Here are the steps

  1. Create a full height popup with close to 15-20% column width. Ensure that the popup column does not overlap with the page design. Make the popup load on page load and remove the close button
  2. Create a menu with anchor links to different sections of your page
  3. Add the menu to the popup using the menu element and make the menu vertical. (You can be more creative and even add logo and social icons along with the vertical menu.)   
  4. Use one of your global colors as background and for text normal and hover colors. This will make the the menu blend more with the rest of your website.
