Excerpts not showing in post element.

I have created the post element and withing it I am adding a text element with '#excerpt'. When I preview the page all that is there is 3 spaces.

  We are sorry for this inconvenience. This is due to a recent bug with Brizy Cloud. We are working on fixing this.
