Blog Excerpt in Brizy Cloud

I can't get blog excerpt to display. In fact when i link blog button to "blog" nothing happens either.  

I used the "post" element at first then when that didn't work i used "text" element and added #excerpt and still nothing shows up. 

 

Please help!

  This is hurting my ability to host clients here. I just shifted a client from wordpress but the blog doesnt work. What is the update?

  I just added another rich text field to the Blog Post type. That works for now.
