Page Loading Too Slow in Brizy Cloud
Hi,
I'm running a directory site in Brizy Cloud & I know the pages have quite a lot of content to load, so I understand it may take a little longer. However, in the front end, after I update the content, or visit the page for the first time, the load speed is excessively slow on all these pages (anything from 15 seconds & up).
Can you make any suggestions as to how these pages can load any quicker at the first time of asking?
The site is wighttheory.com
Cheers,
Regards,
David

Hi David,
This is the expected behavior. When you make a change and save your work and preview it, the preview file is recreated and cached. The second time a user accesses the same page he will access the cached file. Hence the first preview of your page after an update will take longer. If you are working on a relatively short page, you may not notice the difference between the first preview and the second. On longer pages, you will notice the difference.

Hi KC,
OK, noted... however, can you confirm that this applies to all users after the first time?
What I mean is: after I update a page, the first time it loads will be slow, the second cached time is faster.
If my friend then accesses the updated page, will he also have to wait for a slow load, or will he now be able to access the cached page for a quick load?
Cheers

Hi David,
This applies to everyone. The second time onwards, the page should load faster.

It's also area related. I always GTmetrix twice and I see the difference depending on where the file is cached
