Creating an email link

I am doing a website for a company with six offices. On the contact page I have each office's managing partner and his email address. How do I create a link from this email address to open a new window with a email to him ready to go?

  Hi

  You can make your email address clickable by adding a link to your text and typing mailto:email@business.com in the URL box.
