    Has this issue been fixed?
It's still doing the same thing

    Hi Sam,

If the CPT is appropriately setup, the breadcrumbs can display its URL correctly. For instance, please have a look at the CPT setup here

KC, Instead of going into the setup on my client's site, wouldn't you rather show us how to implement a CPT compatible with the BreadCrumb component or ask for the code snippet of our CPT implementation?

Or even better, instead of the implementation adapting, wouldn't Breadcrumb better improve its implementation??

     For example:

There is no option that allows activating a taxonomy node of the post in question, only the Post Type itself.

This is a bit poor, as several plugins for this purpose already have this option.

    Hi Adson,

In the above test website, CPTs developed using Pods have been linked to the blog post taxonomies to make it work with Brizy. Following this approach, you can create a single CPT template and archive templates using Brizy. I am happy to record a video with this workaround procedure if you want me to. Please let me know.

If you want us to create a similar procedure for another CPT plugin, please let us know what it is. We will endeavor to develop the procedure.

    Hi KC!

My CPT implementation is done in my theme's functions.php file, following the official WordPress documentation.  Where I defined the post type "Products" with two custom taxonomies - one of the hierarchical type and the other not.

Below is the gist with the implementation snippet of my CPT.  Maybe you can reproduce in your theme:

    Hmmm.

    @kc, @ Adson..

I've decided to use the shortcode of the plugin: Breadcrumb Navxt
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/

    Which works great...
Especially for Tax, CPT, Cats, etc!

    Hi Adson,

I believe custom coding will be required to make your custom CPT work with Brizy. Unfortunately, this is outside the scope of our assistance.

    What?

@KC And what would be the scope that Brizy covers, if not standard WordPress CPT that the Brizy plugin is intended for???

     I don't understand!!!

Are you saying that you support a "Bloated" plugin like Pods and not the pure implementation following the Official WordPress API (https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/register_post_type/) ???

The clear truth that seems to me that you are unaware of or don't want to admit is that Brizy's breadcrum was created covering the implementation of Pods and not the API of the standard WordPress CPT class (core).

Every time it's this wear and tear and this dialogue underestimating our knowledge.

Did you analyze my code?  Implemented?
     It's simple, nothing more.

    Hi Adson,

I understand that you're frustrated with the limitations of our support regarding modifying the behavior of the Breadcrumbs element. I apologize if there was any confusion regarding the scope of our support. Allow me to clarify our position:

    1. Our support primarily focuses on assisting with existing features and functionalities of Brizy Builder.
    2. We do not provide support for code modifications or customizations beyond the options and settings available within the Brizy plugin.
    3. However, we do welcome feature improvement requests, which can be submitted to our developers for consideration in future updates.

Regarding your specific concern about the implementation of breadcrumbs in Brizy, please note that our plugin was designed to work in conjunction with various WordPress Custom Post Type (CPT) plugins. While we strive to follow the Official WordPress API, it is possible that some features may be tailored to work with specific CPT plugins like Pods.

I apologize if this has caused confusion or frustration on your end. It is not our intention to underestimate your knowledge or cause any wear and tear in our communication. We value your expertise and understanding.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance within the scope of our support, please feel free to let us know.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H

    Hi Ariel,

Perfect!  Your points made clear the scope of support and my statement that your Breadcrumb component was made to work correctly only with "bloated" Plugins like Pods, and not with the purest form which is using the official WordPress API, which which plugins even use, but I call them "bloated" because they bring their own abstractions and approaches.

Knowing and admitting this, I was hoping someone from your development or advanced support team would point me out what the plugin implementation does, or what manual code following the official WordPress API needs to work with Brizy's Breadcrumb.

But I understand your position on Brizy support to stick only to existing functionality.  And yes, it makes me very frustrated to see them admit that a WordPRess plugin doesn't properly support WordPRess.  This should be frustrating for you as well and your fellow developers.

There is no confusion or hostility in my lines.  Please don't interpret it that way.  But there is a negative surprise and a clearly manifested frustration on my part so that you understand and make better paths and decisions in the development of Brizy.

I am partially pleased to hear that this theme will be forwarded to the dev team for further improvements.  However, since you admit that the component is limited, please put some kind of disclaimer or warning that Breadcrumb will only work correctly with CPT coming from the Pods plugin, X, Y and Z, etc. It's the least you can do until this component is updated.

Imagine a WordPress plugin that doesn't work properly with WordPress.  Realize the urgency of this is pretty ridiculous even for novice users.

I would like you to know that all my lines are to see a better Brizy, because I am a developer and I hired your product to facilitate my website building process.  I'm not just a block dragger.  Please consider this in your calls.
