Issue with vertical menus & VIP support
-
Hi Oli,
Thank you for contacting us.
No, we do not monitor support@brizy.io email, some people monitor emails others people monitor the forum. But I check if we received some emails from you at support@brizy.io , and we do not have any emails from you, we have only 2 questions on the forum. I'm sorry but we didn't receive any emails from you. I will ask my colleagues to check for spam.
Regarding the question about the menu, we could not reproduce this issue, everything is working well in our dashboard. Could you please send us a video so we could see the issue on your end? Also, please disable all plugins, except Brizy, and check again this issue.
Best regards, Nelea.

Hi Nelea,
The emails were definitely sent. I would suggest removing the support email if you do not monitor it.

As you can see the menu alignment does not function properly. The menu is set to 100% width because otherwise the text stacks. Having said that even when the menu is set to the default of 33% width the alignment tool still doesn't function as expected.
We need the text & the menu itself to be centered on mobile and tablet. As you can see from the video we can not achieve that right now.
Is there any css we can use to fix this for the time being?
Kind Regards

Hello Oli,
My name is Natalia, Brizy technical team.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience with our support channel. I found your email in our spam folder - https://jmp.sh/EEAFFMn therefore, we didn't receive it as a ticket in our support system. I apologize for this inconvenience.
I marked email as "safe" and we should receive you emails now.
Regarding the issue with the menu alignment - I could not reproduce it in my page, the alignment is working correctly - https://jmp.sh/q2Itcrv; I have the latest 2.4.0 Brizy versions.
What other plugins do you have? What theme do you have?
Thank you!
Regards, Natalia

Hi Natalia,
I have responded to Nelea’s message above with a screen recording of the issue. The message is still “pending approval”
We have no additional plugins installed and the theme being used is “page builder framework”
Kind regards,

I have just noticed that you are using a horizontal menu in your example, that works fine for us too. The issue lies with vertical menus.

Hi Oli,
Please watch this video for the procedure to make the vertical menu centralized. https://jmp.sh/R5d0TQh

Hi,
Thanks for the video explanation.
The problem still remains. In your video the menu is in the centre but the text is still left aligned. As explained we need the menu centered as well as the text.
It looks odd if the menu is in the centre but the text is left aligned.
Kind regards

Hi Oli,
Sorry; we do not an option to centralize a vertical menu text. You can only left or right align.

Hi KC George,
Do you have any plans to implement this ?
In the mean time could you give me some css that would fix the problem ?
Kind regards

Hi,
Just a follow up on the above...
Unfortunately the suggestion you made in your video explanation isn't working.
As I mentioned before, we have to keep the menu width/size to 100% otherwise the menu text starts to stack.

Hi Oli
If you have a large width container, please make three columns and place the menu in the middle column. Then it should not be difficult to make it aligned to the center.

Hi KC George,
I am not sure that solves the problem of the menu text alignment?
Kind Regards

It should help you place the menu element in the middle of a container. It would not center align text.

Hi,
We solved this in the end with a very simple bit of css…
margin: 0 auto;
Wish you would have said this. It would have saved a lot of time.
Kind regards
