Formating Quotation in an Asset

I have tried both an ordinary line break and the soft one (?) [shift + enter] and I still get a break in the solid line down the left margin which shows that the text is a quotation. Is there a way for this line to be solid down the margin for all the selected text (which is being quoted)??

  At the moment you cannot do a solid line in the comment paragraph, but we have added this option to our to-do list.
