Wrong canonical URL
Hi, I have a website deployed to netlify.
All (mostly) good, except that brizy is outputting this as canonical:
<link rel="canonical" href="https://blackcurrant7251689.brizy.site" />
Which is not the website:
https://www.thegreatarmando.com
view-source:https://www.thegreatarmando.com
Seems to me a bug somewhere, project id: 7251689

Hi Davide,
You would have published blackcurrant7251689.brizy.site to Netlify and then later added the custom domain to Netlify. Hence adding www.thegreatarmando.com as the canonical URL was not an option at the time of publishing. Your best solution is to manually update the canonical URL in GitHub.
You can do this in a minute. Here is how. https://jmp.sh/2u3MxMP Please check if the canonical link has been updated on your website five minutes after you have updated the URL in GitHub

THanks, but anytime I update from brizy it would overwrite it?

Hi Davide,
You are right; every time you make an update, the changes you made at GitHub will be overwritten with brizy.site canonical. If Netlify can add its own canonical link header like mentioned here, you may have a solution. https://answers.netlify.com/t/improved-seo-with-canonical-link-headers/11095
