converting to Brizy WP from WP 5.9 / FSE
A quick note on what I've learned testing 5.9.3, including a temporary downgrade to 5.7.
One: use a WP theme that is not full-site editing. Blocksy works well. Twenty Twenty-two supports nothing but blocks, so, for example, you can't build a menu in Brizy because the theme doesn't support it. Blocksy does.
I would highly recommend deactivating almost all your plugins if you are switching over to Brizy. However, LiteSpeed Cache not only appears to be compatible; you'll need it (or something like it, although some popular cache plugins don't work well with 5.9; ymmv) to clear the cache & see your changes.
(Blackhole for Bots & the Slate theme for Admin both seem fine. I haven't restarted Askemi.)
This is easiest if you are building a new site. If you are converting an old site that is already on 5.9, take it slow & keep a back-up. You might run into something that zaps data. The biggest learning curve may be on templates, which are nothing like WP templates (and therefore a terrible name). Create test posts, pages, categories, etc, until you are comfortable with Brizy WP. Watch the YouTubes (although most seem to be a bit out-of-date).
Even though you may have a WP site, give up thinking of it as a WP site. It's Brizy, using WP as a platform. Don't be an old dog; learn the new tricks.
