    Hi

    Everything should be set-up correctly.

Here is an example URL: https://mozart-bett.de/produkt/nachttisch/

It also has the problem that you can't use the "plus" Symbol to add more units.

    Hi

When you say "the variations aren't displayed on the front-end no matter which variation you'll pick" do you mean when a user chooses a specific product variation, the variation product images are not being displayed in the gallery? We don't have expertise on setting up Woocommerce variable product. However if you want us to take a look at this, we can.

The issue with the + and - signs of the Add To Cart button could be because of a conflict with another plugin. We will need to take a look at your WordPress Dashboard to troubleshoot this.

If you need help with troubleshooting, please add me as a user to your WordPress Dashboard. My email: kc.george@brizy.io. Please enable the option "Send the new user an email about their account" as in this screenshot https://jmp.sh/tSRznJX

Once you have sent me an invitation, please let me know here.

    Hi

I have got access to your website. I have updated the plugins, added a license to Brizy and updated the woocommerce database and disabling one plugin at a time to the identifying conflicting plugin. Now your staging site is showing the error "There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions." and it has become inaccessible.

I am not sure if this Wordpress instance can be restored. I am sorry; you may have to re-clone your site if the staging site cannot be restored. If you decide to reclone, please ensure you are using PHP 7.4 or above   and WordPress 5.9 or above. Please also update all plugins, update woocommerce database, add add a Brizy license.

When I disabled OptinMonster plugin, the Brizy "Add To Card" button started working; the quantity could be specified by clicking on the plus button.

    Hi

I have looked at your WordPress Dashboard. At http://bacxods.myraidbox.de/produkt/nachttisch/, there were few console errors. Few errors were to do with OptinMonster and one error was to do with Astra Pro. When I deactivated those two plugins, those errors disappeared and the "Add To Cart" button started working. Please see this page. http://bacxods.myraidbox.de/produkt/nachttisch/

I do not have an answer for your question about why the product variation images do not show up in the product page. While you have added a different product image to few of your variations, it does not show the image when you select the variation.

I have a question for you though. When I look at your Single Product Template, I do not see an element to display your product variations. How are you displaying the list of variations? https://jmp.sh/LSzegDV

Hi George, so first of all, we can't get rid of Astra - that's the theme. E.g. you can't use the configurator anymore as you can see. So if there are conflicts between the theme and brizy, we need to know which conflicts there are. And you don't have any idea why the variations doesn't work? We are using the template "product page" to display the products. For "Hocker" http://bacxods.myraidbox.de/produkt/hocker/ you cant see the fields you are referring to, because it isnt a product with variations. Its a standard product. Please investigate further, with the Astra Theme. And also we are having the same issue on another project and there are arent using Astra or Optin-Monster so there have to be a brizy specific problem. If you need more information or anything I can help you with, please let me know! Thanks so far!

    Hi Oliver,

You don't need to get rid of Astra theme. Are you using any Astra Pro feature for this website? If so, which specific feature? (When developing websites using Brizy, you do not normally require the Pro features of Astra)

Your settings with woocommerce variable product looks good. We do not have expertise with woocommerce variable products setup. Like I shared in the video, you do not seem to be using a Brizy element to display the product variations. You have not also described how exactly you are displaying the drop down variation options. For example, if you are using a plugin for this feature, you will need to investigate why the plugin does not work.

If you are having the same issue on another project, we can take a look at it as well. If it is a Brizy specific issue, we can offer some help

But you said, you disabled it - so therefore we need to get rid of it or am I wrong? Nope, the variations or the block you are referring to was there automatically. So we dont using any PlugIn or something else to display that! This is a core woocommerce feature, but it seems that this has problems with brizy. So can you investigate further? At the moment this is not necessary, first we should fix it here.

    Hi Oliver,

I had not disabled Astra theme, but the Astra Pro plugin. When using a page builder, Astra Pro features are normally not essential. When you enable the Astra Pro plugin, it causes certain errors on your page and the Add To Card button misbehaves. When you disable it, the errors disappear and the Add To Card button starts working fine.

Like I mentioned in my video, in your product template, you do not have a  Brizy element to display product variation options. You are using a total of 46 plugins and several of those are woocommerce related. It is possible that one of the woocommere related plugins provides you the functionality to select the product variations.

The issue I had faced with your website was that it is poorly maintained. Before I could do any troubleshooting, I had to do these preliminary steps which took around 2 hours.

    • There were 30+ plugins which needed an update.
    • Woocommerce database was asking for a database update.
    • There was a notification in your WordPress Dashboard which said the Astra child theme did not support all the woocommerce templates. I needed to change the theme to Astra .
    • Brizy had an error and the license did not work. Had to install a license.

With 46 plugins active in your WordPress instance, troubleshooting will not be an easy task. Give us sometime to look into this.

Hey George, thanks for the update and sorry for my misunderstanding with the Astra theme or plugin! Okay, but we have to use the Astra pro plug in and cant get rid of it, but I will ask my colleagues, if there is another work around. Also when I tested it, it worked, but the plus and minus symbol are disappeared. Exactly, we are using WooCommerce to display the variations. Okay, first of all thanks for your work. Our developer updates the plugins after all while and then all of them on a staging version, so that we always make sure that everything work. In the past we had problems in the shop,. which costs a lot of money, because we updated constant the plug ins. Just for your information. I totally get, that this needs some time, so no problem at all! The main thing that its gets right! If you need further information, please let me know George!

    Thanks!

    Hi Oliver,

In the single product page, instead of the Woocommerce Product Gallery element, you were using the image element. The product images were not updating when selecting different variations because of this. I have replaced the image element with the Product Gallery element and now for every variation, you can see the respective product image.

Please check this product page: http://bacxods.myraidbox.de/produkt/nachttisch/

I have added some random images to different product variations of this product for testing. Please replace the test images with the appropriate images for each variation.

Hey George, just another information: It seems that it is also not possible to add some product text. If you can help with that also, that would be great. Otherwise, I wish you all the best and have a great weekend!

    Hi Oliver,

You said "It seems that it is also not possible to add some product text. If you can help with that also, that would be great". Does this still apply? If so, please give us more details.

Oh yes you're right. This does still apply. The problem is: If we add text this doesnt display in the front-end. Normally you can add here text: and you can see it here: but this doenst work. Could you have a look into it?

    Hi Oliver,

When you add "Product Short Descriptions" to your products, it will show up on your product page. For example, take a look at the Nachttisch product page. I have added a product short description. http://bacxods.myraidbox.de/produkt/nachttisch/

Please add your product short descriptions here https://jmp.sh/h9jheY8
