    Hi Jason

You cannot set featured images as background in the Posts element. However let me suggest a work around.

    1. Use the Featured Image in the foreground
    2. Add an overlay color for the featured image
    3. Place the title on top of the featured image by giving it a negative margin

Please watch this video for more detailed procedure. https://jmp.sh/iCgjKM3

Thanks for the detailed video on the work around!
That's exactly the look I was going for by putting the text over the picture.
Just wondering why the feature image cannot be set as background.  Is it just for now that it's not working?  Or some sort of technical limitation?  Also what if it's not the feature image?  but another image for the custom post type created?

    Hi KC,
Tried the work around and it worked nicely in desktop mode.
However when viewing in mobile/tablet mode, the text are no longer on top of the images.  I tried to find the margin settings for the text element in mobile view editor but it doesn't have the settings panel for some reason.  The image element has the settings panel for margin, padding, etc.  So settings for text element in mobile view editor is missing.  Could it be a bug?

    Hi Jason

You are right; looks like we have few bugs in the Posts element in tablet and mobile design views. Until we fix these bugs, you will not be able to make the background images work.

I will report this issue and we will work on fixing it.

Thanks for looking into it KC.
I will create it without making the text over image for now.
I'll update it when the Posts Element background image bugs are fixed.
btw I have also tried adding another image field to my custom post asset and same thing, can't load that image as the background image even though it can be selected (whether custom or original) when clicking the database icon.
