Pop-Up Lottie

hey,

 

I have a popup with an lottie animation: Free Lottie Animation Files, Tools & Plugins - LottieFiles for a restaurant i wanted to use this animation to display the opening hours, so basically plan was:

user presses on "opening hours"-button on webpage

lottie gets played once

text element fades in (while lottie finishes)

 

so i turned off loop and started

no animation

 

it seems that the lottie starts, when the page loads (not when the pop up opens)

 

is there a way to start the play animation only when the pop up gets triggered?

  Hi George,

  thanks for the video :) i forgot the Z Value...

  anyway also in your video, the Lottie starts to play when the page gets loaded (its not at the complete beginning when you press the button), not when button is pressed...

  is there anyway to trigger the start of the lottie with a click on a link?

  Hi Gerhad

  May be the Lottie files are designed to start playing as soon as the page loads. I'm sorry; I don't know how to stop Lottie from playing on page load and force it to play only when the popup is triggered.
